Our award-winning Palomar Films studio is currently looking for a video editor to join our team. Our department is a PBS style facility based at Palomar College in San Marcos, CA. We produce documentaries, instructional videos, and promotional content in our recently upgraded 4K television studio. We have won 37 Pacific Southwest Emmy Awards and dozens of other national accolades for the compelling content we create.

Working hours are mostly Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm. We have flexibility with scheduling so you can still work on other projects when needed. We are currently hiring for April 24th-June 30th 2024, but the position will likely continue until June 2025. This is an onsite position, so please do not apply if you live more than 50 miles from San Marcos, CA.

This is a $30-$35/hour, 24-32 hours per week position, with some employer paid benefits and 40 hours of sick leave.

W *** 15 News in Madison, Wisconsin, is in search of a photojournalist and editor who excels at identifying, gathering and editing powerful images and compelling sound. Duties/Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

• The position includes solo work, as well as working with reporters and anchors on live shots, investigative/promotable content and special projects, including live, remote broadcasts.
• You will shoot and edit video for daily news broadcasts and all of the station’s digital platforms.
• You will embrace working with our awesome digital producers. This includes sharing updates, video and still images from the field as new information is learned.
• You must have solid news judgement, excellent communication skills, and the ability to problem solve. Writing skills are a plus. Our photographers don’t just “gather and hand off” their work. Qualifications/Requirements:
