Head of Studio
Overview:
Shareability is a next generation Brand Builder. We take a Hollywood approach to brand building, combining storytelling with digital technology and distribution to drive massive engagement and growth, and we’re even launching our own brands.
We do all this by launching Brand Studios. Think Hollywood Studio meets Digital Media & Distribution Network, an IP & Franchise Universe, engaging audiences on social and beyond through cutting edge storytelling, all fueled by influence and celebrity.
We need people to help us run these exciting ventures. You need to be an entrepreneurial self-starter, motivated and strategic-minded, capable of building and steering your own niche media company, often working with with big-name talent, working as Head of Studio, reporting directly to our President.
This is hands-on, owning partner relationships and acting as the core organizing force for what’s essentially a well funded startup endeavor, leading planning and implementation, tapping into multiple Shareability teams for execution.
Our office is located in West LA. During the current COVID pandemic we are all working from home, but this role could transition to work in the office over time. Or not.
Skills/Experience:
- 7+ years of working in a leadership position specializing in Brand Management, Marketing, Advertising or Video
Production.
- Thoughtful communicator, tact is a must.
- Deep business experience related to storytelling on social media.
- Experience developing/creating/overseeing creative work and IP.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, background and experience. Leading business startups a plus.
- Experience being responsible for P&L/balance sheets.
- Proven success collaborating with multiple teams, seeing projects through end to end of both strategic and creative processes.
- Skilled at pitching creative a plus.
- Highly skilled in balancing multiple, complex, concurrent projects.
- Able to respond and adapt to the needs of a highly demanding client organization and ensure work is delivered to a high standard.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Motivates and inspires clients to maintain and grow the business.
- Respond to client needs and requests, helping guide them away from ad-hoc activations and towards what’s in the best interest of growing shared assets.
- Strategic, business and creative leadership and subject matter expertise in collaboration with existing teams.
- Guide multi-stakeholder conversations about digital comms planning, creative reviews, influencer marketing, and publishing efforts.
- Actively look for partnerships, takeovers and other business opportunities.
- Supervise initiatives for paid media, sponsorships, influencer activations and other needs as they may arise.
