We’re open to a field producer who shoots, but we’re also open to a producer who will be accompanied by a videographer. Bonus points if you have a videographer you work with and can recommend.

We’re hoping to film one day between 9/27 and 10/11, so please share any days you are not available, and we’ll try to work with your schedule.

Duties include, but are not limited to: Having a prepro call, Setting up and capturing an interview, driving an interview on camera, capturing B-Roll, and sending a provided drive back with footage. This will be a one day shoot, and may require outside of that day: a pre pro call , a location scout, and shipping a drive back.

The Job

ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

*** Radio is looking for a producer with technical skills in audio editing/processing, content creation (e.g. podcast, radio, YouTube, social *** ) and developing strategies for recording sessions, artist interviews and managing recordings for multiple markets. As a Producer you will lead a network show content strategy and interact with multiple stakeholders including Sales, Engineering, Programming, Traffic and On-Air talent.

ABOUT YOU:

The successful candidate will perform Producer Duties, developing strategies and content for our morning show.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

Curate an editorial calendar for on-air and online content including Sales integrations
Script and engineer local content for use on radio, digital and TV
Establish relationships with local and national experts for use on-air and online
Manage FCC reports for radio content that supports the community
Build audio libraries for on-air use in segments, interviews and onsite events
Schedule and manage recording sessions with talent e.g. commercials, promos, etc.
Develop year-round content ideas for talent and feature/event concepts for Sales and partnerships
Report and stay updated with video content that is trending among our listener base for use on-air
Develop and create show features and interview segments to pitch to programming team
Manage/create social *** and digital content elements to promote radio programs
Make use of digital User Generated Content for on-air use and social ***
Must be willing to work weekends/holidays with short notice and be willing to travel if required

YOU HAVE:

Proficient in Adobe Cloud Audition or similar DAW editing software
Knowledge of studio equipment and computers, including storage requirements on physical drives and cloud storage
Experienced creating content for a Spanish dominant audience in Los Angeles with an understanding of identifying relevant national and local trending topics for content use
Well versed with social *** platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, and emerging platforms like Discord
Capacity to work in a fast-paced work environment with constant deadlines and breaking news
Well versed with Microsoft Office, Google Docs, or similar programs
Bilingual, fluent in Spanish both written and spoken
Knowledge in Spanish contemporary music covering the 80's through current music
Well versed with *** production and broadcast/studio equipment
Experience with digital content creation for a brand, business or third party partner
Minimum (2) years' experience in radio audio production or similar role
College degree preferred
Must have a valid driver's license, adequate transportation for driving and a good driving record
Must be willing to work from office in Los Angeles, CA
Must be available to travel out of city, state and country
