An exciting new at-home gym equipment company is looking to crew up their in-house video production studio. Experience in a live-broadcast environment is a MUST. This studio will be producing regular live and non-live content including training videos, interviews, and more.

The FIELD PRODUCER is responsible for developing, scripting, producing, and sometimes editing of content for our fitness lifestyle platform. We’re seeking an experienced producer with social media experience to create short-form videos and creative assets across our content channels, including our social and digital media accounts. The key to this role is producing segments in the field and in studio content for the app, in line with direction and guidelines of Associate and Executive Producer.

We're looking for people who love fitness, know how to tell a great story, and can entertain an audience. This is a collaborative position within our team where you will have a hand in crafting each story and how to visually tell them.

Responsibilities:

Identifying stories and talent – ensuring a high level of editorial content is delivered in line with brief/guidelines from Executive and Associate Producer.

Preparing beat sheets, production plans and scripts for each project.

Liaising with Executive Producer re cost of stories/talent, also ensuring resources used are within budget guidelines.

Develop strong relationships with key roles in the business to ensure smooth and efficient production of stories.

Stories and projects are to be delivered at a high quality and on time.

Work closely with the team to plan for future programs and ensure there is enough content spread throughout the content calendar.

Develop series and class offerings according to our programming guidelines.

Work with Instructors to create social media plans for their content.

Qualifications
2-4+ years’ experience managing projects and strong knowledge of the key components of project management (e.g., scope, time, cost, quality, resources, communication, risk, etc.) and associated tools, best practices and methodologies.
4-6+ Years of relevant Film/Television programming experience
Bachelor’s degree
Ability to lead a team.
Experience working in Health and Wellness.
Strong and decisive decision making.
Understanding of media industry
Strong base of production contacts and crew across the Continental US.
Must be detailed oriented and should strive for accuracy in every element of their work.
Proficiency in Avid editing and the Adobe Suite preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Applications
This will be a fast-paced environment with a small team, working inside a state-of-the-art studio space with cutting edge equipment.
This is a non-union, full-time position that requires the employee to work local to the Dallas, TX area.

Job Description

Do you love pop culture and entertainment news? What about trends, viral videos, and social *** ? Access Hollywood is looking for a Field Producer to deliver and execute creative content around a variety of topics including entertainment news, human interest, and celebrity features. Reporting to the Executive Producer and Supervising Producers, as well as working closely with our Production teams, this role will be responsible for the execution of daily editorial content covering an array of topics in a variety of forms, from breaking news to red carpets to oversight and execution of package pieces.

This position will crash day of air pieces and breaking news, so writing, edit, and strong storytelling skills are a must. This position will produce in the field and at offsite interviews when needed, source and advance news stories, and work well within a team environment. Must be comfortable developing ideas that work across all *** including on air, digital, and social *** .

Essential Responsibilities

Oversee creative segments under the direction of the EP, Co-EP, and Supervising Producers as well as work closely with Production team members to ensure budget expectations are met, staffing needs are communicated, and post/deliverables are executed on time.
Be a one-person band when necessary, crashing day of air pieces for broadcast with quick turnarounds.
Contribute towards building the brand identity by being able to take information and create engaging and interactive formats in which the viewer can participate.
Write scripts and execute story telling visually through the selection of appropriate still and video images within budget and time parameters and while maintaining factual accuracy.
Attend junkets, premieres and other outside events, including award shows, to execute news coverage.

*** is looking for a proactive journalist who is passionate about Asia and would relish the challenge of becoming a Field Producer based in our Japan bureau. The successful candidate will be primarily assigned to stories in Japan but may be required to cover news anywhere in the world.

The Field Producer is part of *** 's award winning International Newsgathering operation. Responsibilities include coming up with ideas for distinctive stories, researching them and making successful pitches to editorial leaders. The successful candidate will then see stories through to broadcast and publication. Field Producers work hand in glove with some of the world's most respected correspondents and will be required to operate at the highest standard. During the course of managing a story, the successful candidate will ensure that legal and editorial integrity issues are handled according to company policy. Producers are also required to work up budgets for stories and ensure those budgets are adhered to.

Breaking news is a key component of what *** does. Field Producers are often deployed into the field to cover a wide range of stories including riots, natural disasters, wars, terrorist attacks, big political developments and a whole lot more. You will be required to move at a moment's notice and could spend long periods of time away from home - often in pretty tough conditions.

Your Role Accountabilities...

The Field Producer is a key position which requires making editorial decisions, coordinating logistics and overseeing the quality of our news coverage in the field and in the bureau.
