We're looking for a Production Designer to join a sci-fi dysoptian dark comedy. We'll be filming for 5 days starting in early August. We need help with building and decorating our sets, a burger restaurant and a home.

This is a microbudget project with a very limited budget.

Seeking a production designer to join our team for the short film ORNITHOMANCY by Marquis the Honey Bear, featuring Carl Clemons Hopkins, Devere Rogers, and Oscar Montoya. The film is a satirical absurdist comedy about job hunting as a big bodied black queer man, and we need a designer with a resourceful appetite for expressionism and collaborative mindset.

We are currently in pre-production, with funding for the project secured through a successful crowdfunding campaign, and shoot dates in Los Angeles August 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th.

We're looking for an Art Director to join a found footage microbudget political horror film. We'll be filming for 10 days starting in late July - early August and are looking for an Art Director to join and help us with building and decorating our sets.

This is a microbudget project with a very limited budget. The rate for this position is $200 per 10 hour shoot day.

Experience working in a studio with flats is preferred.

Looking for experienced Production Designer for a short film shooting in Hudson Valley, NY in September with SAG actors. Shooting the film in one location. Using Kitchen/Dining Room/Hallways/etc.

Seeking a super creative art director to help us dress a small studio set for a bridal magazine winter wonderland themed campaign. The studio is located in Middletown, NJ (not Jersey City) with a shoot date set for September 18th 2024. The studio is available the day prior to load in/prep as needed. We are looking to fill this position ASAP.

Wayfair is revolutionizing how imagery is created and the various types of imagery that are available to our customers globally. Wayfair's Product Video Team is a newly formed venture, responsible for enhancing the online shopping experience and promoting confident purchasing.

The Stylist is responsible for working with the Producer, and creative teams to execute the styling direction for PDP Video Pipeline by Product class. Each day, the stylist will oversee the prep and styling of a variety of products, as well as select wardrobe for the talent. The Stylist also assists with sourcing props and wardrobe for purchasing when we need to either expand or refresh our propping, wardrobe, or secondary SKU selection.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and prep each product for shooting (wipe down, remove stickers, test functionality)
• Style each SKU with the appropriate props from Wayfair’s prop library, based on established guidelines
• Work with Videographer to determine Talent action for each product
• Maintain a clean and organized prop library
• Assist with bringing products on and off set, as well as assisting with resets between takes
• Manage wardrobe for talent (pulling, organizing, cleaning, and selecting outfits)
• Assist with light hair/makeup touch ups on set when needed (Talent does their own hair/makeup)

Requirements:
• Experience working with both wardrobe, talent, and prop styling
• Ability to assist with the moving of furniture items (chairs, sofas, tables, desks, etc)
• Strong attention to detail
• Works well in a team setting and is great at collaborating
• Experience in video production a plus, but not required

Production Dates: August 13-16 (plus shopping/returns time)

Production Info: We will be filming lifestyle spots for a senior living brand, in their communities around the Austin, TX area.

Role: As Production Designer, you'll acquire the necessary set design pieces to execute our creative director's vision for each scene. As we are filming in actual senior living communities, some design elements will be available on-site. You'll discuss scope and execution with the creative director to have a clear picture of what will be needed throughout the production.

Hi! Looking for 6 art department assistants from August 1st to August 14th for a home renovation show. (we will only need you for 10 of those days, but will be staggering).

Rate is $168.00 per day. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.

Job duties include - assisting in building furniture, assisting in moving furniture from one space to the next, assisting in general clean up of the makeover space.

Set Dresser

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Set Dresser to join our production team for a TV pilot filming for 2 weeks in the Chicago area. Filming is scheduled between the end of August through early September. The set dresser will be needed for 11, 12-hour days of filming

The Set Dresser will be responsible for selecting, arranging, and setting up all objects and elements on the film set to ensure the visual appearance aligns with the director's vision. This role involves collaborating closely with the set designer and other production staff.

Responsibilities:
- Select and arrange set dressing items such as furniture, pictures, and other props.
- Ensure all set elements are properly placed and aesthetically pleasing before filming begins.
- Collaborate with the set designer, art director, and other team members to achieve the desired look and feel of the set.
- Transport and position set pieces, props, and furniture as required.
- Conduct thorough research to source appropriate props and set pieces that fit the period and style of the production.
- Maintain the set’s appearance throughout the filming process, making necessary adjustments.
- Assist with the breakdown and storage of set pieces after production wraps.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Set Dresser or similar role in film production.
- Strong artistic eye and creativity with attention to detail.
- Excellent research skills and knowledge of prop houses.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Physical stamina to handle and transport set pieces.
- Must be able to carry heavy objects.
- Knowledge of set design and decoration techniques.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the production schedule.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree, certification, or experience in set design, art direction, or a related field.
