In this role, you will own the front-to-end design process for ESP Gaming’s production projects and have the opportunity to flex your creative muscles, creating broadcast packages and animations while leading a team of freelance designers and artists to execute ESP’s creative vision and ensure overall success for the given projects.

Job responsibilities:
• Stay up-to-date on competing esports programs to improve, innovate and push creative boundaries.
• Work within brand guidelines to create custom broadcast graphics packages from scratch, including lower-thirds, chips, bugs, slates, stingers and animated backgrounds.
• Participate in weekly creative meetings with producers and executive teams.
• Maintain, edit and ideate on existing broadcast graphics packages to update look based on ESP’s creative vision.
• Create 3D animations and event logos based on provided brand guidelines.
• Build graphics templates consistent with broadcast packages according to provided brand guidelines to be used on social media platforms.
• Hire, assign work and manage freelance artists to deliver on deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
• 3-5 years in creating TV broadcast packages (sports or esports is a plus)
• Awareness and sensitivity to aesthetics, art direction and trends
• Passion for competitive video gaming and esports
• Possess strong network of creative freelancers
• Ability to think outside the box and push creative initiatives and ideas
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects. InDesign is a plus but not required.
• Logo design and co-branding experience preferred but not required.

We are expecting you to create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and documentation of the frontends that you will be designing.
From time-to-time, you will work directly with our game teams to help them design custom interfaces around their implementation of our online services.
You are going to want to be comfortable pitching and presenting new ideas to stakeholders.
We will be leaning on you to research and understanding the current state of UX/UI design.

Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience designing complex user interfaces
Excellent verbal and communication skills are a must. You will spend a good amount of your time understanding and gathering requirements from many teams across all of WB Games.
A portfolio of your successes in UI/UX
Since you are the source of many requirements, not all tasks given to you will have a clearly mapped strategy. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in an environment like this, who would be eager to help tease and define some of these requirements.
•Ability to excel in a fast paced, startup-like environment

The Nice to Haves

While not required, programming experience provides you with more opportunities to take on more complex tasks. This would be a plus for any new candidate.

Base pay is just one component of *** Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $48,994.00 - $90,990.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.
