Job Title: Video Editor/Graphics Designer

Position: Freelance

Location: Remote

Start Date/Schedule:- As of now, the week of September 27. Starting with 2-3 days/week with the potential to extend to 5 days/ week as we get closer to air.

The Company:

We are a mobile entertainment and shopping network centered around Gen Z and their mission to create a positive impact in the world. We produce live, interactive shows on topics that matter to young adults including mental health, social justice, sex, and gender identity; and we introduce relevant brands that are ethical, sustainable, and share the same core values as our audience. The company is currently operating in private beta.

We are looking for:

A video editor/GFX designer who can help design and build the graphics package for several live interactive shows and edit pre-packaged content, b-roll.

This hybrid role will be pivotal in pre-production for the ideation and build of the graphic look of each show. This person will also be responsible for cutting footage for: promotional use, packages/b-roll during the live shows, and social media assets.

This role will work directly with the Supervising Producer and Producer.

Responsibilities:

Design and build show graphics (titles, L3s, and other in-show GFX elements) for multiple series and potential spin offs that stay within the overall style guide of the network.

Ability to build and turnaround b-roll packages and one-off graphics quickly.

Edit and format clips for social media platforms.

Edit weekly promos and social content before and after the shows.

Fully manage all aspects of the video editing process

Turn around same-day edits and handle projects simultaneously, implementing notes from the Content team.

Delivery of all aforementioned assets to spec and archive footage post air.

Edit down the episodes after air and re-package the GFX when necessary.


Requirements:

Excelled proficiency in all Adobe design and video programs (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, etc).

Experience building entire show packages

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Passion for Gen Z culture and pop culture

Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
