Job DescriptionThe Graphic Producer will be responsible for the creation of graphic elements which include written/visual content under tight deadlines in a live broadcast environment including but not limited to a control room.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the content producers to find innovative ways to enhance the on-air content with graphic elements.
- Responsible for the creation of the graphic elements in INews.
- Work hand in hand with the graphic department to get the latest graphic look for on-air and have knowledge of the latest graphic technologies.
- Check and review graphics for grammar, spelling, clarity, and impact under tight deadlines during live productions.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Works under the direct supervision of Executive Producer and is responsible for
completing any other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
- Degree in communication, graphic design, and/or production.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in television production or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to work in a deadline driven environment.
- General computer skills: Microsoft Office, iNews and Avid *** Central.
- Must be fully fluent in English and Spanish (both written and verbal).
Eligibility Requirements:
- Willingness to travel with short notice and on weekends
- Willingness to work flexible hours including late and/or last-minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment
- Must be willing to work in the greater Miami, Florida area
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
Must be covered by Solutions, *** U's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
