Looking for freelance Grips/Gaffers to be on our rolodex to work on advertising shoots (video & photo) for a smart home products company called VeSync. These shoots happen weekly and would love for you to join our talented Production team!

STARTING PAY IS $19/HR. Plenty of opportunity for overtime too!
Must have own car (mileage compensation available). Shoots are in and around Los Angeles and occasionally Orange County.

Must follow our Covid protocols and be rapid tested per each shoot.

Responsibilities

Loading gear in and out of truck
Set up lighting equipment
Laying dolly tracks
Assembling camera rigging including dollies, jibs, static rigs, cranes, and tracks.
Assemble and setup lighting and grip equipment


Qualifications –

High school diploma or GED.
Degree in filmmaking preferred.
Previous experience working as a grip in the film or television industry.
Advanced electrical, mechanical, and carpentry skills.
Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment.
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Ability to work long and irregular hours.
Ability to travel.
Good communication skills.

Will be a 4 person crew: producer, DP, sound and grip/assist.

Need help setting up lights, moving gear within our one indoor shoot location, though there are multiple floors in the high-rise building. Might need to help with camera assist as well. All-around team player with experience, willing to help where needed.

Grip/PA required for commercial shoot of a Tire & Battery company in Port St Lucie on the 25th May, mostly B-Roll. Small crew, all hands on deck, but mainly helping the Gaffer, experience with Aputure lights and Dana Dolly is a plus but not essential. If you're laid back and move fast, we'd love to work with you.

NABA is doing an annual conference in Miami Fl this summer. We have been tasked with filming the event for marketing purposes. A crew of 10-12 will work to produce various deliverables to be played during the event and post-event.

We need someone to work with the camera department to document the event and film Testimonial interviews. You will also be tasked with setting up and breaking down lighting/grip. Applicant should be very familiar with lighting for interviews and working with lighting/grip equipment.

1) do you own or have a relationship with pre-loaded grip truck, which would make you a Gaffer + gear/transpo all-in-one solution? And 2) we may want to hire an additional Swing for G&E, can you provide preferred reccos?

Looking for a lighting board operator for a number of dates throughout June to help with some corporate/internal events in Washington, DC.

Each program will vary slightly, but most consist of panel sessions (2-3 total) with 2-4 participants each.

Each show would be covered using the client's facility and equipment. They have a Dot2 Lighting Console.

The current rate is $500/10.
