Hi there!
Looking for an HMU combo department head/one-man band for a 12 day ULB feature film shooting in and around Highland Park. Cameras start rolling on Sun 6/26 and we just lost our HMU artist! Help!
The film mainly features two characters (one male, one female) and takes place over the course of a single day. Designing our beauty looks and then maintaining continuity is key. We are filming outdoors often, in June/July, in LA, so that will be a factor. There are additional day player characters who come in and out and will need a quick pass for camera, but the focus is of course on our two leads. All beauty HMU, there is no blood, stunts, action, or character design required.
RATE: $250/12 + kit rental (to be negotiated)
DIVERSITY: Our film is written/directed by an Asian-American and our leads are both Asian-American.
Will be a great opportunity for someone looking to jump up into the department head chair. We anticipate it being a fun set, despite the low budget. We're working to make it a great time for everyone involved!
