We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Head of Production to oversee our entire production process, from pre-production through post-production. This senior role demands a strategic leader with a proven track record of producing high-quality creative content while managing costs and accelerating production timelines. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in all facets of production, and be adept at leveraging tools, offshoring, software, and innovative processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness at scale. We are looking for a mindset of doing things in new ways and challenging conventional wisdom.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME:
Lead and optimize operations across pre-production (breakdowns, scheduling, casting, wardrobe, props, set decoration, makeup, bookings), production (directors, crews, production management, actor management, equipment, facilities, locations), and post-production (editing, color grading, vfx, sound design, dubbing) ensuring you meet project deadlines and budget requirements.
Drive continuous improvement in production quality, reduce costs, and shorten time to market using state-of-the-art production technologies, methodologies, outsourcing, and out-of-the-box thinking.
Improve project management of pre-production, production and post production.
Monitor and analyze production metrics, budgets and performance data to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimization of production processes.
Review budgets, schedules, timelines and cost reports, while providing feedback on financial viability and risks. Forecast, track and manage overall content budget; collaborate with Finance to project overall production department spend.
Facilitate the scaling of all facilities, processes, teams, security and production capabilities to be able to grow with the company.
Design and implement the best organization and team for scaling globally. Build and review comprehensive staffing plans ensuring optimal resource allocation and project success; manage capacity planning.
Establish and enforce rigorous quality control processes to maintain the highest standards of production quality and external partner satisfaction.
Manage and expand relationships with key industry partners, including outsourcing firms, technology providers, and freelance talent pools.
Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of production staff across all departments, ensuring high performance and efficiency.
Develop and implement robust production policies and protocols to maximize productivity and ensure consistency across various projects.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital media production to inform decision-making and maintain our competitive edge.
Collaborate closely with other department heads to align production objectives with overall company goals.

WHAT YOU HAVE:
Minimum of 10 years in production management, with significant senior leadership experience in a high-volume, micro-budget environment.
Deep expertise in all aspects of film and video production, including technical knowledge of production equipment and software.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage large teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
Must be able to work efficiently across all levels of management, talent, crew and staff
Adept at anticipating potential issues, identifying problems, recommending and implementing solutions
Strong financial acumen, with a proven track record of reducing costs while enhancing production quality.

LEAD PRODUCTION ASSISTANT FOR LIVE STAGE PERFORMANCE ARTS (MUSIC, DANCE, THEATRE)

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Lead Production Assistant is a part-time role at BroadStage that works alongside a team of PAs in a leadership capacity. PAs serve as the backstage support for artists and their teams, crew members, and staff. This position oversees that all PA backstage tasks and responsibilities are carried out by the PA team working a shift. The Lead PA ensures the PA team is providing a hospitable, safe, and clean environment for artists and crew members during rehearsals, technical load-ins, receptions, and performances. The Lead PA is key to ensuring the provision of necessary information, amenities, and care for all who are working or performing at BroadStage and communicating with the Production Supervisor.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

This position is part of the Production Department headed by the Director of Production. The Lead PA will directly report to the Production Manager or Production Supervisor scheduled at the time of the shift. This position will be trained by the Associate Company Manager (ACM) and will regularly communicate with the ACM before and after each event regarding hospitality and accommodation needed.

The department requires that all staff members participate in mid-year & end-of-year evaluations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*:

-The Lead Production Assistant will fulfill regular, day to day PA tasks as well as leadership duties as follows:
-Oversees backstage hospitality, security, and cleanliness during rehearsal and show days.
-Ensures internal Production Department hospitality and production equipment is maintained and organized.
-Acts as shift lead for a small team of PAs and ensures duties are assigned and meal breaks are taken.
-Manages Artist services including but not limited to, artist check-ins, event-based shopping, backstage guest lists, and resolving any issues or questions pertaining to Artist services.
-Primary liaison between Production lead and PA team during shift.
-Completes pre-shift prep and end of shift check-ins with Production Lead.
-Trains new and current PAs on tasks and protocols.

Looking for a Production Supervisor with verité follow documentary experience. It's important for this role to be able to handle quick, last minute changes as this is a true verité documentary, where plans are consistently being re-adjusted. The shoot schedule is never 100% set in stone; but will be roughly Sept/October through April.

This position is to oversee all field aspects within the day-to-day of our filming. The Secretary is responsible for managing schedules, coordinating meetings and handling travel arrangements for multiple VP's in the Universal Products & Experiences division.

Qualifications

Essential Responsibilities:

Manages complex schedules and coordinates meetings with internal and external parties utilizing multiple calendars
Coordinates travel schedules and arrangements, collects required travel documentation
Prepares and processes P-card and expense reports in accordance with established divisional travel policy guidelines; Ensures the timely processing of expenses utilizing the latest electronic processes for payment to Corporate credit card
Maintains proper recordkeeping and filing system for all work
Composes and types routine e-mail correspondence
Performs basic administrative tasks, e.g. faxing, photocopying and filing
Assists other department members as necessary
May assist in making arrangements for temporary help, storage, meeting offsites etc.
Handles phones (including logging, placing and rolling calls) -- Acts as backup for other assistants on the team

Basic Qualifications:
