Job Purpose:

The Kelly Clarkson Show Digital team is seeking a talented, quick, creative digital video editor and graphic designer to join our small and incredibly mighty digital team.

The role will report directly to the Senior Supervising Digital Producer and require editors to work end-to-end on video content and graphic needs.

Video content will range from clipping daily episode clips and captioning, to long and short form digital one off's and franchises, social videos, sizzle videos, mashups, longer-form episodes and branded content. The digital video editor will also design and execute still graphic images and motion graphics.

Editors should be skilled and adept at working with footage of all formats, identifying solutions for challenges, making informed tonal decisions with music and graphics and more.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Edit video content for an array of video platforms utilized on The Kelly Clarkson Show's Digital team including KellyClarksonShow.com, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Utilize a variety of footage from show cameras, digital DSLR cameras, iPhone footage to create digital videos that reflect the strength and storytelling of the Kelly Clarkson Show Digital brand.
• Skilled at creating and editing stand-out digital video content and franchises that are episodic in nature. Franchises may be short form for social or be longer in format at 10+ minutes.
• Skilled communication and professional presence when supporting the supervising digital video editors
• Ability to clearly articulate editing decisions

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years professional experience as an editor with demonstrated ability to create end-to-end original digital video content that is adaptable to multiple social and digital video platforms.
• Minimum 2 years professional experience of using post production video and graphic editing software in Adobe Suite such as Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects.
• Minimum 2 years professional experience audio mixing, sound design, and color correction.

Your impact:

Delish is searching for an enterprising and creative executive content editor to provide direction and support on content strategy and audience development for all departments across all platforms in coordination with our editorial director. The ideal candidate for this senior leadership role is both highly adept at translating analytics to develop content strategies that serve the brand and also knows how to package content that will satisfy a very engaged audience of food lovers. Who you are:

• A seasoned editor and digital strategist with at least 8 to 9years of post-grad experience at a consumer *** outlet; experience with food content is a plus
• 2+ years in an editorial management position

• Deep understanding of analytics, with the ability to translate them into editorial action; familiarity with Parse.ly , Looker, Skimlinks, or similar reporting tools is a plus

The base salary for this role is *** ween $129,000 and $153,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Responsibilities for this position include creating content for all FCW platforms as well as supporting the digital developer & content editor and managing FCW program outreach.

Candidates will focus on various segments of the flooring industry and contribute stories to FCW in print, online and on social platforms. They should be able to develop strong interview and writing skills. Some stories will be assigned but there will also be the expectation that the candidate will identify editorial opportunities as well.

This position is customer-facing and will be charged with forging positive relationships with key industry figures.

Candidates must be deadline oriented. They will contribute to weekly editorial meetings and add to the creative process with new ideas. While the assistant editor will become the expert in key areas/categories, they should be able to collaborate with the edit team on larger projects and be asked at times to take the lead on specific projects. They will also work alongside the senior managing editor during the production process to proofread pages and route pages to the appropriate editor.
