The ideal Brandshop Lead AE has a mastery of post production workflows from media turnover from production through turnover to color and back for final outputs. Ideally, you’re conversant in social media formats and in general the branded content landscape. You are a technically minded experienced problem solver familiar with the pressures placed on the Post Department to deliver projects against tight deadlines. You can be flexible with the needs of editors, consistently performing your work with accuracy, efficiency, and speed. You work well with a team, take a mentorship role with junior members of the team
Responsibilities:
Work in Adobe Teams Projects & soon via LucidLink and Team Productions to turnover projects from production to editors
Set the standard and maintain well organized project files, bin structures, sequences, matching folder structure on the server; and track assignments
Be flexible around remote workflow, including the receiving and shipping of hard drives, strong home internet and availability to download assets, accessing remote workstations via screen-share, and using Cloud services to sync work.
Pull music and sound design to elevate the piece, export stringouts for transcription, pull selects, support editors to move cuts along during busy season
Provide support during finishing stage
Apply LUTS, perform light color grade and mix as required
Facilitate turnovers to color and sound mix, conform sequences, support wrap out and archiving of projects
Qualifications:
6+ years of experience editing in a TV, Film, and/or Digital Production Environment.
Previous post-house experience is a plus
Experience in Adobe Creative Suite and DaVinci Resolve
Deep knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere, proxy workflows, and Adobe Teams and Productions
Experience working with Essential Graphics libraries
○ Knowledge of After Effects a plus
Proficient in multicam editing workflow
Familiarity with digital and linear formats, including optimizing for Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and Snapchat.
Knowledge of Frame.io, WeTransfer, Media Shuttle, and other tools that support production workflows
Strong understanding of Camera formats, codecs, and file types, which in addition to Professional camera systems may include Phone media and Zoom records, in various codecs, aspect ratios and framerates
Comfortable working on Mac and/or PC
