We are looking for an inventive, self-motivated and collaborative freelance Sr. Video Editor to join an award-winning, post-production workforce creating engaging short-form digital content for online distribution (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and more).

As Sr. Video Editor, you will use your post-production and innovative storytelling expertise to drive creation and delivery of high-quality video assets across multiple popular series franchises. You will be given exceptional creative control over the execution and strategy of the editing process, working in concert with a team of producers on a variety of high-visibility projects. Applicants must have exceptional communication skills, rigorous attention to detail, extensive knowledge of film and TV fandoms, and a passion for creative work.

Responsibilities

* Use Adobe Premiere to craft engaging short form videos with tight turnaround times
* Create motion graphics using After Effects and Essential Graphics from templates (and from scratch if needed), including lower thirds, full-screen text, custom image layouts, and more
* Revise videos after receiving internal and client feedback
* Finish projects with music, color correction, and sound mixing
* Keep projects meticulously organized and labeled properly
