CourtTV is currently looking for our next Line Producer to hire! For nearly two decades, Court TV brought high-profile courtroom dramas into American living rooms. The Line Producer is responsible for developing, pitching and producing creative content for a news and/or entertainment show. The Line Producer must also have an in-depth understanding of production within an entertainment-news environment. You'll be responsible for the oversight of live or pre-taped programs. Edits copy to assure compliance, calling for video changes when necessary; oversees all final edits for that day's broadcast under deadline. This position also coordinates and checks continuity for all video and still elements in the video walls during the day's on-stage shoot.

**** YOU'LL DO:

• Oversee offline and online post production schedule and delivery of daily packages to online editor.
• May write and produce content
• Edit teases and open for daily show.
• Supervise taped video production by organizing the program elements; back timing the program and working with production crew to organize necessary technical means and personnel requirements to accomplish the task.
• Oversee visual elements for studio recording, including producing visual components of the virtual set.
• Works with post editors on final production.
• Responsible for ensuring final show is fed to participating stations at deadline daily.

**** YOU'LL NEED:

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• At least 5 years of experience in television production as a show producer with a passion for entertainment.
• Experience producing/shaping stories at all stages of development from pitch to air.
• Experience with I News editing system a plus.

Job Description

The Line Producer for Noticias *** is responsible for identifying newsworthy stories, conceptualize and produce rundowns, has active participation in editorial meetings and planning, writes stories for the newscast, is able to write banners and request news graphics. The Line Producer, with executive producer guidance, prepares the rundown of news stories, oversees and executes the production of key video and graphic elements. The Production Manager will serve as the organizational, technical, logistical lead for MS *** Digital and the MS *** video content team. The Production Manager organizes teams of writers, producers and editors who produce content all day.

This is a part-time project / limited term position with an estimated duration for College Football season (Mid-Late May to December) unless otherwise amended.

As a Production Assistant, you are responsible for assisting production personnel in all phases of sports production for *** 's College Football coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Organize weekly edit projects for producers and editors
• Gather video and photo assets to use in packages and other elements
• Reach out to PR teams and third parties for asset collection
• Pitch game or studio ideas in weekly meetings with the assigned production team
• Help create select sequences for producers to use when editing teases - assisting with shot selection and securing footage
• Restore and manage offline *** and retrieve archived assets from MAM
• Archive and catalogue footage

• Create and log melts for College Football games and distribute to various networks

The Position
