Looking for a seasoned Line Producer that is well versed in travel logistics for docu-series. Position will require managing field crew simultaneously with an event team producing a large scale street fair.

Rate range is $3,000-$3,500 per week

ISO a strong line producer with international experience and, ideally, large formatted series experience. Prep will be split between Los Angeles (mostly remote as of right now) and the international location.

Candidates must have experience managing all aspects of international production including budgeting, cost reporting, carnets, international shipping, hiring personnel, traveling and managing a large crew, scheduling and working in remote areas.

Experience with union contracts and deals (IATSE, DGA and AFTRA) a must.

We are seeking a Casa Manager who is a highly independent, customer focused, self-starter that can navigate complex logistical and customer situations. You should have extensive experience working directly with clients in a customer service focused role, sales experience and ideally direct experience in the production or event planning/managing industry. We are looking for a curious and open minded individual who thrives in a fast paced work environment, as no two days are ever the same. This role serves as the face of Cocoon, since you will be our clients’ main point of contact on-site during their reservation. In this role, you will provide premium hospitality, manage client expectations, create quality content and promote Cocoon’s unique space and service offerings while being a problem solver to facilitate a seamless reservation. Cocoon works with a diverse high profile clientele and it’s imperative that we always provide a service that exceeds their expectations.

Note: This role is a flexible independent contractor role which requires initial commitment to at least 20 hours of availability per week. The 20 hours of availability are not necessarily spread out throughout the week, since you will be covering reservations that can last up to 12 hours a day. Some Casa Managers might opt for a full-time position after a few months if both parties are interested.

Responsibilities:

Foster a culture of critical thinking to come up with new systems that elevate our Location Management service

Be the main on-site point of contact for guests during a reservation
Provide creative, high quality content during the booking process
Generate new leads and sales for Cocoon (with an opportunity for commission!)

Qualifications:

2+ years’ experience in the production or events industry

Experience in resolving practical or people-related problems
Basic Knowledge of content creation
High autonomy with little to no supervision
Hands-on approach where no job is too small or big
Flexible availability – Late nights/early mornings and weekends may be required
Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time (6+ hours)

General Description:

The ATV Digital Studios Line Producer will be the Production Management brand lead, leading all aspects of each project from its earliest starting point through to delivery. LP must have an acute understanding of the digital landscape and experience in producing content distributed via YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram, O&O sites and apps, as well as other emerging platforms. Candidates will have a history partnering with Development Execs and be able to drive conversations around feasible video executions within budgetary parameters. Must have field physical production experience, a positive disposition and appreciation for challenge. This is a hands-on role and the Line Producer must be prepared to “do” as well as “oversee”. This position reports to the Sr. Director, Kids and Family Digital Production.

Responsibilities
Serves as production management point person for all ATV digital projects
Partner with ATV Development leads and video producers to execute savvy content that is of the highest quality possible
Maintain fiscal content budget as well as scribe and oversee individual project budgets – must be a specialist in crafting production plans from nothing
Draft and reviews budgets and schedules, track and project final budgets, and review all wrap materials
Draft and review post production plans and collaborate with internal Post Operations and resourcing teams
Oversee assignments of internal staff and freelancers working on ATV projects
Hire crew, safety, locations, equipment, etc. on a project basis for all internal and 3rd party executions
Work with finance and accounting teams on payroll, account payable, and cost reconciliation on projects and overall budget
Track and oversee payment and coordination with talent in conjunction with the internal talent team
React quickly in a fast-paced production environment and demonstrate pragmatic problem-solving skills
Implement all logistical, legal, technical and financial aspects of physical production for ATV content. Collaborates with internal and external teams on project-specific needs pertaining to BALA, MML, IPLIT, Labor and Employment, Production Risk, International Relations, Government Relations and Safety
Learn Paramount Policy & Procedure and build productive working relationships with finance, legal, talent, technical, and support departments. Work autonomously without oversight from production executives. Communicate effectively with senior executives and keep business partners up to date on project status
Understand when to elevate issues that require senior oversight or have broader company implications. Lead and mentor junior production personnel. Strategize new and improved ways of doing business and champion change
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of experience required with both field production experience AND network/broadcast and/or production company history in new media. Strong knowledge of prominent digital platforms and emerging technology. Willingness to travel and be available for some weekend shoots/events.
Proficiency with Movie Magic Budgeting, Showbiz, and Excel. College degree strongly preferred.
