CourtTV is currently looking for our next Line Producer to hire! For nearly two decades, Court TV brought high-profile courtroom dramas into American living rooms. The Line Producer is responsible for developing, pitching and producing creative content for a news and/or entertainment show. The Line Producer must also have an in-depth understanding of production within an entertainment-news environment. You'll be responsible for the oversight of live or pre-taped programs. Edits copy to assure compliance, calling for video changes when necessary; oversees all final edits for that day's broadcast under deadline. This position also coordinates and checks continuity for all video and still elements in the video walls during the day's on-stage shoot.

**** YOU'LL DO:

• Oversee offline and online post production schedule and delivery of daily packages to online editor.
• May write and produce content
• Edit teases and open for daily show.
• Supervise taped video production by organizing the program elements; back timing the program and working with production crew to organize necessary technical means and personnel requirements to accomplish the task.
• Oversee visual elements for studio recording, including producing visual components of the virtual set.
• Works with post editors on final production.
• Responsible for ensuring final show is fed to participating stations at deadline daily.

**** YOU'LL NEED:

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• At least 5 years of experience in television production as a show producer with a passion for entertainment.
• Experience producing/shaping stories at all stages of development from pitch to air.
• Experience with I News editing system a plus.

Job Description

The Line Producer for Noticias *** is responsible for identifying newsworthy stories, conceptualize and produce rundowns, has active participation in editorial meetings and planning, writes stories for the newscast, is able to write banners and request news graphics. Hiring Salary Range: $85,000.00 - 91,500.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Your New Role...

*** seeks a talented Line Producer to join the News Central 1pm team in Atlanta, GA!

Your Role Accountabilities...

The Line Producer, with executive producer guidance, prepares the rundown of news stories, oversees and executes the production of key video and graphic elements. The Line Producer makes important editorial decisions and guides talent, writers, associate producers and the technical team in the control room. Additionally, the line producer must be able to build segments and develop story ideas from beginning to air. This includes editorial discussions, writing scripts, package production, graphics elements and field coordination.

Your Qualifications & Experience...

• Must have at least 5 years of experience producing live news shows.
• Four-year college degree or equivalent in proven industry experience.
• Applicant must be editorially mature with solid knowledge of national and international news and be able to create an in-depth, visually exciting newscast.
• Must be a strong leader in the control room and be able to calmly handle breaking news situations.
• Must be an effective team leader with strong people management skills. Excellent writing skills-style, language, accuracy, organization, balance.
• Ability to produce quality work quickly.
• Knowledge of iNews and *** source is helpful.
• This position will likely fill a variety of schedules, including overnight hours and the individual chosen is required to be extremely flexible.
• Flexibility-ability to adapt during breaking news, ability to adapt to program or anchor style.
• Attitude- must be eager, cooperative, energetic, team-oriented.
• Self-starter- ability to enterprise ideas and work well independently, with little supervision.
