DETAILS:
- Role: Line Producer
- Start Date: June 24, 2024
- Wrap Date: January 10, 2025
- Full time for approx. 26 weeks with 3-4 dark weeks
- Location: Hybrid, but production is based in Houston, so close proximity to Houston is preferred
- Non-union docu-series

Looking to hire a seasoned LP for a first season docu-series in the Houston area.

This position provides management, leadership and oversight across a logistic-heavy production with many moving parts and tight timelines to stay on top of.

This role will work closely with the EP/Showrunner in the field, reporting to the company’s Production Executive in LA to ensure the production is fully supported to meet the creative needs, whilst staying on schedule and on budget, ensuring the safety of cast and crew are always a priority.

This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of production management, ensuring creative and logistic expectations are met by facilitating communication, thinking strategically, leveraging efficiencies, utilizing local resources and relationships while maximizing budgetary and schedule parameters.

This person must have a strong background in production management on docu-series.

SKILLS:
- Experience with overseeing production logistics on various documentary and reality shows
- Working knowledge of labor laws and
- Understanding of Music licensing, as the production will shoot live bands performances and will need to ensure we have all necessary licenses
- Strong communicator that is direct and purposeful in all communication
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Flexible and ready to adapt to change
- Team player, able to collaborate and maintain positive working relationships with both creative and production teams
- Detailed, organized and experienced with cost tracking, budget management and working with various departments to stay on budget and schedule
- In-depth, working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
- Strong management, financial and negotiation skills
- Strong listening, written and verbal skills
- Creative problem-solving and objective decision-making skills
