Prominent show filming around Austin, TX seeks a Location Production Assistant to join our Locations Department. Typical duties include maintaining mobile restrooms, disposing of catering trash, setting up and moving 10'x10' popup canopy tents, deploying portable A/C units, cleaning locations, protecting locations, putting up signage, and responding to on-set calls.

The position does NOT involve location scouting. It is strictly on-set support to ongoing television production.

Meals provided on-set by catering. $800 per week for 12 hour days (30 minutes provided for lunch, time and a half paid for overtime). No mileage/gas reimbursement for commutes to set, but mileage is provided at $0.58 per mile for off-set runs.

Must have experience using a walkie talkie/transceiver on a film set, must have very flexible hours with wide-open availability during the week, and must have a good attitude, discretion, and impeccable work ethic. You should be able to lift 60 lb tents and will do so regularly.

Serious applicants only. Show runs from November 2019 through June 2020, with no room for any major schedule conflicts whatsoever.

This is a terrific opportunity to get on a top-tier, "real" TV set, but the job is difficult, the hours are long, and the tasks are menial. NOT for aspiring actors or those unwilling to get their hands dirty.
