Project: Docu-series recreations in (2) 3-week shoot blocks

Job description:
* Procure location options to present to producers,
based on producer specifications, and within the
designated timeline
* Source location options through a variety of means -
personal resources, locations website, film offices, etc.
* Negotiate location booking rates to fit within budget
parameters
* Track and maintain locations grid with producer
feedback on usage options, availability, and booking
status
* Confirm bookings and communicate with property
owners/managers as needs change
* Acquire the necessary releases and hand off COIs to
property owner/managers
* Communicate production & shoot day specifics to
booked locations.
* Assist with sourcing additional location related
resources as needed (parking, cleaners, other logistics
etc.)
* Complete the permit application process in
conjunction with Production
* Scout and photograph locations in advance of
presenting them

Pre-requisites:
* Must have documentary / docu-series experience
* Must be willing to work independently (there is no
locations assistant on the project)
* Must be local to Philadelphia
* Must have experience working in & sourcing
Philadelphia area locations in the past
* Must work as an independent contractor
* Must be able to communicate quickly and effectively
* Must be familiar with Google Docs & Microsoft Office,
including Teams & Filestore applications
* Must have reliable transportation
* MUST HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE & BE VERY FLEXIBLE

This is a Location Manager position for a long running reality series.

Looking for someone who is an expert at booking locations, and has a detailed knowledge of the Austin area. Must be a team player, and capable of juggling multiple things at once.

Must be able to work locally in the Austin area.
