Hi there! We're looking for a makeup artist for our dark comedy short film, filming Feb 5th, Feb 12th, and Feb 13th. We're looking for someone with a quirky sense of humor who enjoys dramatic eye makeup, a satirical take on "influencer" makeup, and who can do some clown makeup. Please provide links to past work. We will be filming in locations that require Covid compliance and testing will be arranged.
Synopsis: “No Joke” is a dark dramedy that follows the story of Junior, who recently lost his Father, Augustus, a clown, to a botched performance. The tragedy is compounded by the fact that the deadly performance was filmed, uploaded, and went viral. Junior finds his grieving impeded by the vloggers online who view his father’s passing as one big absurd joke, and he seeks to get revenge.
