How you'll make an impact:As *** Manager, you will organize, optimize and make discoverable thousands of audio, photo, design and video assets for archive and reuse. You will help shape the future of Pandora & SXM's asset management, ensuring that business goals and objectives are met and the Creative Lab's rich production library is meticulously maintained. You will help deliver on our mission to shape the future of audio - where everyone is effortlessly connected to the voice, stories and music they love.

We're looking for someone who is a resourceful problem solver, thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment, and has a knack for thinking about how we can best position our assets to tell the story of our brand and enhance the customer journey.
What you'll do: - Develop and maintain metadata of shared terms with definitions and rationale in collaboration with Studio members and managers
- Create and improve guidelines for metadata ingestion including licensing and usage rights
- Oversee application of keywords, controlled vocabulary, categories, and other identifying tags to assets to improve accessibility
- Monitor and audit assets to adhere to established governance standards, ensure process standards are being followed for managing asset
- Develop and maintain user roles and access, set appropriate rights and permissions for all users, and set system policies regarding usage rights in collaboration with Legal department
- Regularly review the quality of search results to meet user demand for quality access by working directly with users
- Generate appropriate taxonomy / metadata reports to share with business content owners and governance stewards for regular review and update
- Provide training and ongoing support on the best practices of content import and metadata application to ensure that all content imported into the system meets business goals and objectives
- Coordinate and manage all planned enhancements and work with user groups to establish priorities and commitment to planned change
- Communicate requirement changes to implementation partners
- Review and confirm usefulness of system security profiles and user access rights
- Support workflow oversight and ad hoc change implementation to ensure useful, relevant workflows across the system
- Fulfill asset retrieval requests as necessary
What you'll need:- Masters in Library and Information Science (MLIS)
- Experience developing and maintaining metadata, controlled vocabularies, and taxonomies
- Hands-on technical experience with library systems, content management systems, or preferred, digital asset management (DAM) and *** asset management (MAM) systems
- Demonstrated success working with digital assets
- Firm knowledge of metadata and taxonomy application for system navigation and content search and retrieval
- Experience with cross functional department processes
- Strong analytical, prioritization, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- A highly motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic individual who is able to work on their own initiative
- Excellent collaborator with a passion for partnership and teamwork, diverse learning and communication styles, and driving swift and effective decisions.
