In search of Online Editor / Online AE in commercial and advertising space. Must be used to fast paced short form commercial / marketing spaces with fast turnarounds.

Will be part of short-form marketing assets for multi-cam broadcast reality competition show. Resulting video elements will be distributed over broadcast/mobile/digital/etc. with a high degree of audience consumption. Source materials will be part of broadcast reality competition show's marketing push.

During editorial phase, AE will work on stringouts for footage review, and respond to footage retrievals from editors. Must have ability to work with After Effects templates as well for superimposed text exports. Footage sources will be from multi-cam broadcast reality show that is with footage coming in on a rolling bases. Grouping / syncing experience should be a prerequisite to troubleshoot any potential sync issues in existing groups. Must have prior experience reading logs and searching for bites for editorial/stringout purposes. Must be a good communicator regarding tasks and turnaround estimates. Must have experience in roundtrip AVID --> DaVinci --> AVID workflows with mixed framerates, and mixed source resolutions.

Workflow will be offline for editorial. AE positions will work closely with post producer, editors, & other AEs on team.
Must be comfortable with After Effects for GFX template exports/insertions.
Experience with AVID SAS QT exports and Adobe Media Encoder also required.
Experience with AVID --> DaVinci --> AVID Roundtrip workflows.

Strong previous experience with commercials and multi-cam reality TV workflows a must.

Additional Considerations:

- Not an in office job. Job is remote, but post crew must work as local on shifts based in PST.
- Work is expected to be offset weeks with weekend hours.
- Footage and editing stations will be remote.
- Must have reliable computer and broadband internet for connecting to LA Based hosted AVID machines via screen sharing.
- Minimum internet bandwidth requirements for applicants should be 150Mbps download and 10Mbps upload. (Cable/Fiber Connection Preferred.)

This documentary is about an internationally known artist and the making of his hit song and music video. Please include a cover letter as to why you think you're the right person for this job.

We're located in Los Angeles, CA and we'd like to find someone local. But we are open to someone doing the job remotely as well.
