CT Post Facility looking for Colorists/Online Editors proficient with both Symphony and Resolve to work on a variety of series and pilots. Genres include but are not limited to: Reality, Docu-series, Home Makeover, Lifestyle, Food, and Travel programming.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years working with Symphony/Resolve to conform and color
- Coloring HDR for network and OTT providers
- Delivering HDR, and SDR masters as well as DolbyVision metadata from an initial HDR grade
- Working with various ACES color management pipelines
- Conforming sequences from offline to online and round-tripping
- Integrating footage from multiple cameras and formats - dealing with:
- Various codecs and color spaces
Shot matching
- Addressing mixed frame rates
- Conforming non-standard raster sizes and aspect ratios
- Mastering to network specifications including, but not limited to: HD, UHD, and 4K resolutions, 23.98p, 29.97p, 29.97i, and 59.94i (interlaced & progressive), 3:2 pull-down, drop/non-drop timecode
- Basic compositing (green screens and matte keys)
- Solid effects background with both Avid's effects and Resolve's Fusion effects panel
- Working with Avid ISIS/Nexis Client Manager in shared media environments
