Job DescriptionRole Summary/Purpose:Exciting opportunity to work at the Entertainment Group, consisting of *** Network, Bravo, E!, Oxygen, USA, Syfy, Universal Kids & Syndication *** . This role falls within the Operational finance team supporting the Entertainment Group (a business unit within the *** Group division).
The Financial Analyst will report into the Sr. Manager of Operational Finance and support leaders across various operating groups within the Marketing and Digital organization. Responsibilities include working cross functionally with operators and performing various FP&A related tasks including estimates, budgets, and variance analysis.
Essential Responsibilities: - Assist Sr. Manager with monthly financial updates to various operating leaders providing them a snapshot of performance vs budget, trends and offering thoughtful insights on how to best manage resources / maximize efficiency of spend.
- Support overall operational finance team with financial planning, estimates and reporting processes including, reviewing the general ledger, accruals, consolidation, and financial variance commentary.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Digital teams for all related finance responsibilities including regular re-estimate submissions, review of potential risks and opportunities to plan and various ad hoc requests.
- Maintain and update financial templates across operating areas and seek out opportunities to streamline/standardize processes and formats to ensure accurate reporting and reduce manual inputs.
- Support operators in resolving any Accounts Payable, Travel or Purchasing Card issues that may occur.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Proficient with MS Office - particularly Excel & PowerPoint
- General ledger experience (SAP/BPC/Analysis for Excel) preferred

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
