We are looking for a highly capable payroll accountant to manage our payroll system. In this role, your duties will include ensuring accurate salary payments, updating employee hiring or termination information on the payroll system. To ensure success as a payroll accountant, you should demonstrate knowledge of applicable tax laws and ideally have experience in a similar role. The candidate will be detail-oriented and someone who can accurately and timely process salaries.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing and accounting systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
Identifies and recommends updates to payroll accounting software, systems, and procedures.
Attending to payroll inquiries from employees.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Extensive knowledge of payroll functions including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Proficient with payroll software.
Education and Experience:
An associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting.

The Senior Analyst, Ad Sales Finance position is a dynamic role on the Ad Sales Finance team that will play a key role in ensuring strong controllership, driving operational excellence and supporting new growth opportunities. This role will work closely with financial and operational leadership and have exposure to all aspects of the sales organization. The New York based role will report into the Financial Controller for Ad Sales based in London.
