We are currently seeking a skilled Edit Engineer to join our team for a live event. This temporary position will focus on ensuring optimal functioning of editing suites through handling of various software and hardware components. The ideal candidate will be experienced with Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Nexis storage solutions.

Responsibilities:

* Install, configure, and update editing software including Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro.
* Troubleshoot and report any software or hardware malfunctions to the technical support team.
* Efficiently move and install computers, monitors, and video equipment within edit suites.
* Ensure all equipment is calibrated and configured for optimal performance.
* Assist in the setup and breakdown of edit stations, maintaining organization and safety standards.
* Provide immediate technical assistance during live events to prevent and address any technical issues.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Edit Engineer or similar role in a live event setting.
Knowledge of editing software, including Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro.
Experience with Nexis storage systems and a strong understanding of digital video workflows.
Ability to perform physical tasks involved in setting up computer and video equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a knack for detailed reporting.
Available to work onsite for the duration of the event.

Looking for a full-time Post Production Coordinator to work across various unscripted shows on major TV networks. Will be working directly with the VP of Post and Assistant Editors.

Duties include:
- Prepping workflow documents at the start of the season
- Coordinating with the field with releases, production stills, and third-party media
- Coordinating with Post team on any stock and GFX needs
- Managing deliverables such as final script, music cue sheets & Texted Elements Log
- Review Online delivery for blurs & bleeps

Skills needed:

Experience coordinating unscripted is a major plus. This is an in-office position in Studio City.

The Edit assistant will follow the workflow set out in the Post Production guidelines below. The edit assistant will be responsible for wrangling of all camera cards, saving and backing up the footage. They will be required to be in the office to manage all the media coming and going from location, saving using correct naming conventions and logging this footage in the database. They may be required to have flexible work hours on occasions to ingest media for a tight turn around. They will also be required to do cast cutdowns and scene cuts as instructed by the Director or Senior Field Producer The edit assistant will also communicate regularly with the Sydney, Australia Post Production team as they will work closely on downloading all the footage sent from the US office. There is a tight turnaround between the shoot and the edit happening in Australia ,the edit assistant needs to make sure that efficiency and attention to detail at all times.

Looking to hire a creative and intuitive Los Angeles editor with an eye for detail and actor performance for an indie thriller/action film. Aprox 90 min.
