Job Requirements:

This position will require in-office work at times, so the candidate will need to be local to the Los Angeles area.

We are a New York-based ad agency with full in-house production and post production capabilities. Our West Coast office is in Los Angeles. Our work includes broadcast spots, digital ads, paid and organic social, emerging media, and plenty of other fun formats/outlets.

Post production is LA-based, but this position is remote.

Looking for a comedy editor in the Los Angeles area. This is an in office position Monday through Friday with hours from 9 AM- 6 PM. Requires editing of shorts, sketches, live comedy shows, and compilation videos.

Must have experience with comedic timing and provide a reel. Must be able to communicate and coordinate post production by providing files to VFX editors, colorists, and post production sound mixers. This role will be responsible for producing high-level video content from owned assets, acquired assets, or stock footage, helping to tell stories and create revenue through sales. The Video Editor will also be editing a weekly TV Program.

Required Experience and Skills:
2 years of editing or post-production work required.
Proficiency in various non-linear video editing tools and software (Final Cut Pro, Edius,
Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects).
Deep understanding of Digital Trends and editing principles.
Creative and innovative mindset.
Ability to organize large quantities of media and pay attention to detail and grammar.
Understanding of color grading.

The estimated salary range for this position starts at $55,000 and includes medical/dental/vision/401k benefits. This represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of DWP's total compensation package for employees.

ITVA is seeking a Post Production Supervisor to oversee Post for an upcoming series. As a team leader, the Post Supervisor is in a highly visible position that will be responsible for delivering shows on schedule, on budget and to spec - all while effectively and consistently reporting upwards to the ITV senior post executive team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Vet, hire, and supervise show-based Post team, including Editors, Assistant Editors, Coordinators and Production Assistants.

- Liaise with various internal departments and networks regarding specs, cameras, schedule, deliverables, rights & clearances.

- Build, maintain and communicate Post Schedules and Calendars to network and internal contacts.

- Source, liaise and negotiate with various Post vendors.

- Approve, track and process vendor invoices and show payroll, maintaining up to date cost tracking throughout the run of Post.

- QC and distribute cut screeners to network and internal distro lists.

- Work closely with Heads of Programming/Executives and manage expectations of creatives in the field and in office.

- Document and keep track of workflows, procedures and various show notes.

- Manage final finishing and final technical deliverables to networks.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 - 3 years as a Post Production Supervisor in Unscripted Television.

- Experience hiring and managing Post teams (Assistant Editors, Editors, Post PAs, etc.)

- Experience building and troubleshooting Post Schedules and Calendars.

- Knowledge of Avid Media Composer and Nexis.

- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications (After Effects, Photoshop, etc)

- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

- Proficiency in Google G-Suite applications (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, etc).

- Technical knowledge of various major camera platforms, capture formats and LUTs.

- Experience with UHD/HDR Delivery, as well as delivering to broadcast networks and streamers.

- Professionalism, punctuality, and reliability is a must.

ITV America follows a remote hybrid model. Employees are expected to be in the office 2-3 days a week, typically Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday (subject to company policy changes).

Skills

Proven work experience as a video editor

Looking for an Avid editor for an hourlong reality TV show. Only experienced editors will be considered. Work on Discovery shows and shows with extensive grouped footage are a plus.
