Normal AE duties; group/sync/org footage, prep and send locked cuts to mix, export EDLs, sending footage to GFX company and exporting cuts. Must know Avid and have experience with archive heavy projects. We are fully remote but our team works east coast hours.

About the show:
TV series where reality meets sitcom.
Olga X is an x-Russian, x-actress, and 2x-wife who tries to fix everyone & everything, starting with her BF and American Reality TV. A few issues: she speaks almost no proper English, knows no one in show biz, and even less about men.

Video Story editor

Description: part-time position includes but is not limited to editing scripted episodes from 13 to 26 minutes; editor will create rough and final cuts of the episodes.
Remote work is possible, however, preferable if editor has the ability to meet in person with the Director in NYC for final cut review/editing session.
Starting time: end of November 2023
Requirements:
• Expertise with Avid and Adobe Premier
• Ability to edit independently
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 3 years of experience in professional TV reality story editing and/or sitcom video editing.
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
• Ability to work with a sound and music library and to independently choose music theme for the story mood.
• Strong storytelling abilities, sense of humor, and understanding of jokes.
• Fluent in English
• Good work ethic; attention to detail; self-discipline; ability to work on your own and meet deadlines; openness to feedback from other team members; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Hello,

We are looking for an AE who speaks Norwegian FLUENTLY to aid on feature documentary currently in production. AE will be responsible for transcoding, string-outs, uploading footage to Frame.io, and more. A large part of the position will be correcting AI translations of the footage.

We are documenting Norwegian students while they attend a year of Folk High School in northern Norway. Many scenes are spoken in English but many are also spoken in Norwegian; a native speaker would be ideal.

Production will be ongoing from now until early summer 2024.

Fast-paced weekly show is looking for a Post PA to help keep the Post team running smoothly. This position will work closely with the Post Supervisor and is responsible for an array of duties including, but not limited to:
-Locating & booking data centers

Relink and copy media from client drives to our internal SAN, transcoding when necessary.

Migrate offline edit from the editing program to the color correction platform.

Conform picture at the highest resolution and quality possible, recreating all scaling, positioning, and effects.

Work in tandem with the colorist to integrate graphics, text, replacement shots, and fixes throughout the color grade.

Communicate with the client, audio mixer, and other third party vendors to shepherd each project through the finishing process.

Export and review final deliverables, ensuring the highest quality possible.

Communicate with distributors, networks, and streaming services to ensure deliverables adhere to the relevant specifications.

Preferred Knowledge
Proficiency in Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere.
Experience with Davinci Resolve and/or Adobe After Effects a plus.
Knowledge and understanding of various video frame rates, resolutions, and codecs.
Ability to problem solve and create efficient workflows under tight deadlines.

In this role, you will work with our post-production teams to coordinate and oversee projects undergoing picture and sound finishing. This includes bidding, scheduling, resource allocation, asset tracking, and final delivery. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing anywhere between 5-15 projects at a given time. You will develop relationships with current and prospective business and act as a primary liaison between staff and clients. This is not an entry level post position. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of post experience. Those with the following credits are encouraged to apply: Post supervisor, Post manager or Project manager.

Greeting and checking in both clients and media for incoming sessions.
Managing and tracking online milestones across projects.
Preparing estimates and invoices (FileMaker Pro).
Tracking online digital deliverables between client and Final Frame.
Working cross-functionally with department heads to ensure all company calendars are updated regularly.
Oversee completion and quality assurance of requested tasks.
Completing all projects on time and on budget.

Preferred Knowledge
The ability to identify project needs and work proactively.
Working knowledge of post-production workflows, specifically online.
Experience managing logistics across multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to manage client demands and expectations.
Knowledge of delivering to independent production companies, all major networks, streamers, and film festivals.
