-Position Summary
React Media is seeking a passionate and dedicated leader to join our team full-time as a Post Production Supervisor. In this position, you will be overseeing the schedules of multiple projects, episodes, and series. Ability to manage, negotiate and communicate deadlines, workflows, and personalities in the day to day is important. The ideal candidate is extremely detail oriented, organized, enthusiastic, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
This position reports to the Director of Production and is full time, hybrid-remote during the pandemic.
Responsibilities
Recruiting, hiring and onboarding post production freelancers including editors, AEs and graphic artists.
Creating and maintaining freelance worklogs, timecards, documents, and training materials
Responsible for creating and managing the edit schedules for multiple digital multi-platform series, ensuring all episodes are delivered in a timely manner for reviews, notes, and uploads.
Plan, communicate, manage, and measure milestones, risks, and process improvement opportunities of day-to-day operations.
Managing projects by building deliverables expectations for editors, establishing priorities, confirming and tracking deadlines, while delegating tasks to achieve project goals - ongoing and day-to-day.
Must have a clear sense of post workflows and timelines for short form content delivered at a high volume.
Must understand how abrupt changes may affect the budget, scheduling, and overtime, and run these changes by the Director of Production.
Proactively seeks opportunities for improvement while being solution-oriented, and knowing when to pivot or prepare for potential issues.
Foster a positive working environment by providing clear, specific, timely, and respectful expectations feedback to employees to promote internal growth and foster long-term relationships with post professionals
Remain calm under pressure and provide clear, calm leadership when conflicting priorities arise.
Maintains consistent and effective communication with team members, as well as cross-functioning departments.

-Position Requirements
Must be proficient with Mac OS X, Google Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Premier, Photoshop, and After Effects)
Preferred knowledge of project management apps: Airtable, Slack, and Basecamp
Knowledge of LTO, ShotputPro, and other DIT and Archiving software a plus
Has prior experience as a Post Supervisor or Post Coordinator
Strong time management skills; excellent multi-tasker and able to work well in a high-pressure environment - can work under tight deadlines
Great attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and well organized
Receptive to feedback and adapts to ongoing changes that naturally come with a dynamic business environment
Previous experience managing teams professionally and efficiently
A curious mind that is always looking for new opportunities to problem solve and be creative.
