Experience editing vertical video both in-platform (Instagram, for example) or out-of-platform (Capcut, for example) as well as phone shooting is essential. Mornings with Maria is looking for a talented Senior Producer to join the team and help manage the smartest conversation in the morning! Maria Bartiromo and her team are committed to covering the most important business and political news stories of the day. From Silicon Valley to Wall Street to the White House and even across the pond, Maria, alongside a rotating panel of experts, is talking to viewers about issues that matter.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Producer is a leader, especially in the control room
Manage production, serving as the key person *** ween talent and staff
Strong business news judgment especially during breaking news, including financial news, such as market volatility, the release of earnings, and plunging stock value
Help plan daily and future editorial content for the show
Assist in the management and development of staff from Production Assistants to Bookers to Line Producers, including overseeing and rewriting copy, graphics, and the cutting of VO/SOTs, packages
Coordinate guests, field crews, shoots, and staffing

**** YOU **** NEED

5+ years of proven live newsroom experience, including management of control room and line/segment producers, for television newscast
Knowledge and passion for current events, particularly financial and political news
Exceptional editorial skills
Ability to work under pressure, be decisive, detail-oriented, and meet deadlines
A Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $95,000.00-133,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. **** YOU'LL DO:

Shoot video and still photos to illustrate stories.
Edit, or assists in editing, videos for all multi *** platforms.
Appear on television in packaged news reports.
Report live from events or mobile broadcast unit.
Work cooperatively with photographer assigned to story, if one is assigned.
Assist news producer in preparing newscast.
Assist online staff in preparing for multi *** stories.
Report, write, capture quality visual content, edit, and produce stories for multiple platforms on deadline, including but not limited to the internet, digital channels, and social *** .

**** YOU'LL NEED:

BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent years of experience preferred
Generally, 3+ years of experience in related field preferred

**** YOU'LL BRING:

Computer literacy required, including newsroom computer systems
Videography and non-linear editing experience preferred
Knowledge of broadcast quality camera equipment
Edit video on Final Cut Pro editing systems, or similar equipment
Strong broadcast and AP-style writing skills
Proficient at posting content to various websites
Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to provide proof of insurance with the company required insurance limits.
