Title: Video Producer Compensation: $250/day
Job Type: 5 Days/Week and/or Scheduled Days
Location: Los Angeles, CA

Making It Media is looking for an LA based Producer for a lifestyle TV show called Destination LA. Covid-compliant shoots will take place in the Los Angeles area.

Job Details: On Set Producer Making It Media (MIM) is a media brand dedicated to being the content hub for all things travel. We are looking for a video producer to act as our point of contact on set. Each shoot follows a repeatable format, in adherence to our style guidelines. Our ideal candidate can work with a camera operator to produce segments out of a 3-4 hour shoot. This job requires knowledge in video journalism with interviewing skills as well as basic understanding in the technical aspects of filmmaking. (two shoots a day)

You will:

Review provided scripts, interview casted clients, assemble production notes
Compose shot lists, direct talent and camera operators, manage shoot schedule Maintain and charge gear overnight Backup footage and upload to our cloud server Collaborate with our Creative Director and review edits

You have:

2+ yrs Video production experience Basic knowledge of camera operation
A strong understanding of the production process including filming, editing and directing
A people-oriented personality, a positive attitude, great organizational skills, personable
