Looking for someone to handle event coverage, b-roll and simple interviews for a variety of Chicago projects and events coming up later in the summer (whenever the C19 virus allows). Need someone with music-related event experience and can pretty much operate as a one-man-band.

The perfect candidate will own his/her own 4k camera, support, media, batteries and, ideally, some basic sound gear. As far as the sound gear goes, an on-board mic and a wireless lav is all we really need. If it becomes more complicated than that, we will provide a sound mixer and possibly a PA to assist you.

Along with your gear, I would like to see some links to relevant work if you have. If you don't have much event stuff to share, documentary content is good too... just trying to get a sense of your eye and ability to find the shot at these sometimes chaotic events.

Job Description

The Duopoly Executive Producer is a leadership position overseeing the editorial, production and promotion components of the 10PM newscast and related cut-ins on both **** and ****. This is a unique position that encompasses leading both an *** & *** late news broadcast and non-linear content. The Executive Producer's role is to oversee production of news content on multiple platforms, provide guidance and direction to news employees and be an active member of the news management team. The ideal candidate will know how to motivate and manage a team in producing a show that is a great marriage *** ween in-depth content and viewer advocacy. We're looking for an energetic leader who loves evening newscasts, embraces taking risks and wants to create an innovative product that stands out in the market. The ideal candidate knows how to effectively inspire and support a team, be a consistently high performer, and deliver clear direction and feedback each and every day.

Essential Responsibilities:

Conceive and execute daily programs incorporating top news stories, live reports, and trending social *** topics.
Direct and deliver production elements on a tight deadline. Manage and support on-air talent, content producers and production team.
Review daily rundowns of stories and segments; develop future segments, stories and interviews for all platforms.
Collaborate with marketing department on daily topical promotions.
Cooperate and interact with *** & *** Network News and assure compliance with all relevant laws and company policy on broadcasts and news operations.

Qualifications

At leastfive plusyears experience as a television News Producer or Executive Producer
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

Work with Video Journalists to improve story and presentation
