Freelance On-Air Promotion Producer/Shooter/Director/Editor (Preditor)

As On-Air Promotion Producer/Director, this position will conceptualize, shoot, produce and edit content for all On and Off-Air marketing platforms on AT&T and DirecTV's exclusive Audience Network. This position reports to the Creative Director, On Air Promotion.
• Field produce and direct various behind the scenes interviews, red carpet and hi-concept shoots.
• Write, produce and edit from content across multiple genres including comedy, drama, action, sports, image sizzles and more.
• Independently provides stylized, creative content and is the driving force behind the look and feel of many projects.
• Executes music searches and displays strong music editing skills.
• Work in conjunction with in-house designers, assistant editors, audio mixers, etc.
• Passion for and knowledge of pop culture, new media and television promotion trends.

Requires five or more years of broadcast network, cable network, trailer house, ad agency or professional TV Producer/Editor experience. Must be highly skilled with both Mac’s and PC’s utilizing a variety of edit tools and systems, preferably Premiere and/or FCP 7. A degree in TV/Film production or related field and/or specialized training in editing and editing equipment/systems is preferred. Familiarity with RED cameras.

Candidates must have the proven ability to work independently and creatively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment, while producing high quality results and maintaining a professional attitude. Good verbal, written communication and presentation skills, as well as good interpersonal skills are required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects, leadership skills, and strong analytical skills. In addition, must be able to work various shifts and overtime as needed.

Job Description

Newscast Producers work closely with assignment editors, reporters, and anchors to produce, write, edit and gather content on all **** platforms.Producers will be responsible for the overall newscast and coverage of assigned stories on all platforms throughout the day, including but not limited to Out-of-Home, web, and broadcast.

The Role and Responsibilities:

Must be knowledgeable on daily news events, aware of past events, and understand news in the Philadelphia market.
The ideal Newscast Producer candidate is expected to be a key communicator in the newsroom, talking with each person who will participate or provide content for that newscast.
Collaborate with managers, digital team, and assignment desk to deliver complete local news coverage that is fair and accurate.

Stay on top of the latest graphic tools to visually enhance and showcase stories.

Qualifications
