Mornings with Maria is looking for a talented Senior Producer to join the team and help manage the smartest conversation in the morning! Maria Bartiromo and her team are committed to covering the most important business and political news stories of the day. From Silicon Valley to Wall Street to the White House and even across the pond, Maria, alongside a rotating panel of experts, is talking to viewers about issues that matter.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Senior Producer is a leader, especially in the control room

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Run daily live streams, curate and optimize *** News' YouTube channels
• Write your own original SEO-friendly, accurate headlines and descriptions to accompany all videos published across *** News.com and YouTube
• Write clear, concise, and error-free app, web, Apple News and OTT push alerts that could go out optimally to a wide audience without revisions
• Write *** News.com articles across a wide array of topics

Qualifications

• You have 3+ years of experience in a digital breaking news environment and proven ability to react quickly as news develops

• You're a strong writer and self-editor who can move quickly and with precision

The responsibilities of the Producer for the Eye On America unit will include, but will not be limited to:

• Leading production efforts both in the field and in the edit room.
• Managing the production team including production of the story, working with a reporter and camera operators to set up interviews, gather video and collect information.

Basic qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience as a package producer with proven experience in the field, running story development and leading newsgathering efforts.
  
• Must be an exceptional writer who can add, shape or develop scripts for digital or TV quickly and accurately
• Extensive journalism experience is essential, including a strong background in writing, copy editing, and video production
• Production experience in breaking news and feature reporting
• Ability to shoot video and edit

Hiring Salary Range: $120,000.00 - 155,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. The senior producer will play a key leadership role helping to devise the editorial and booking strategy and coordinate show production for a daily news program.
