Experience on process shows is a must. Must be a one manned tech-savvy unit that can troubleshoot on the fly. You will be covering a five day small process build. Our dates are between August 30th and September 12th. 2 prep days and 5 shoot days.

Your New Role...

Your Role Accountabilities...

The Associate Producer responsibilities include, but are not limited to: viewing and selecting the strongest and most accurate video elements (packages, sound-bites, B-roll, etc.) for a newscast. Your New Role...

Your Role Accountabilities...

This producer is responsible for both guest segments and field producing. Must pitch compelling and creative segment ideas on a daily basis. The producer needs strong editorial judgment with the ability to select key video and soundbites to ensure a highly-produced segment. Must have the ability to write package scripts on tight deadlines. This producer will craft hard-hitting segment questions based on thorough research. This position requires someone with significant field experience who can crash field edits or set up live shots.

Qualifications & Experience...

• 5+ years producing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field of study is preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Field production experience and control room experience are necessary.
• Requires a creative thinker with the ability to find new and entertaining ways to present information, new angles to approach stories, and the organization skills to bring it all together.
• Outstanding news judgment, critical and strategic thinking, and an ability to be persistent yet diplomatic are critical for the position.
• Must be able to work an extended schedule as the news cycle and deadlines require.

Segment Producer

Full Time

The *** *** company is seeking a segment prouder to join our *** News team in Atlanta, GA. This individual will pitch, produce, write creative content and display an in-depth understanding of producing high-end content for live news. This role is onsite Monday through Friday to support the Primetime news shows.

What You'll Do:

Pitch, develop and write content relating to the latest national and international news
Responsible for delivering quick-turn, high-priority packages while executing consistently high-quality production value
Write scripts and work with senior producers to improve and refine the elements of segments to conform to specific quality standards and time requirements.
May work closely with talent, editors and/or producers for live reporter packages by organizing elements including graphics, video, sound, and any necessary components to accomplish this task.
May create banners.
Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

Bachelor's degree in related position or equivalent years of experience preferred.
Generally, 3+years of experience in television news as a line producer or segment producer
Experience pitching and producing live reporter and guest segments.

What You'll Bring:

Must be proficient in writing and producing for live television news
Ability to cultivate and pitch story ideas and guests
Strong ability to oversee and coordinate all creative elements to support live segments
Solid experience identifying strong visual skills
