PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

Our show is looking for an Production Assistant for an award-winning New York based daily daytime talk show.

This position is for someone with the following credentials:

- At least 6 months – 1 year of production assistant experience.
- On set experience of refilling crafty, prepping and cleaning dressing rooms, receiving and distributing mail/packages, going on runs, taking breakfast/lunch orders, printing and distributing scripts, call sheets, run downs and schedules, etc., and assisting with audience giveaways, etc.
- Office experience but not limited to reconciling receipts and scanning and uploading documents.

The position will support our production management team. As part of production management, we support all departments in the logistics of what each show needs. We are looking for someone who will assist our show with enthusiasm and has a positive, can-do attitude.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, can be organized, have the ability to pivot quickly when required, and does not believe any task is “too small”.

This position is for someone looking to learn, gain experience, and who is always asking what you can do next as soon as your assigned tasks are done.

This position will require the right candidate to be in studio 5 days a week. Call time 3 days a week will be 5:30AM.

Position starts in August and wraps early June 2025.

We are looking for a PA to help drive a crew Minivan or 12 Pass Van and then help with general production assistant duties whilst in Long Island, NY. We are not able to offer a hotel and will be working 10-12 hour days so we are looking for someone who actually lives out in Long Island rather than someone based in NYC or Brooklyn so that the days are not incredibly long for you!

Other duties will include getting coffees and lunches, going on production runs and fire watch for kit and van. We are a friendly and small crew!

We need a PA to help with an arts/music shoot from Aug 1 - Aug 7. These are seven consecutive days, Thursday Aug 1 through the following Wednesday Aug 7.

Job is helping moving small camera kits from place to place in a performing arts center and an university, ordering lunch, and doing coffee runs.

$250/day. 8-10 hour days.

The PBS program Firing Line with Margaret Hoover — the weekly long-form discussion program featuring political and cultural thought leaders — is hiring a Production Assistant.

The right candidate is a detailed-oriented team member who is eager to jump in on a wide variety of tasks. Responsibilities include research, logging transcripts, tracking news developments, cutting video clips, and various administrative duties. Experience with video editing software, especially Adobe Premiere, is preferred.

The PA should have a strong interest in current events, policy and political affairs.

We are looking for dependable Production Assistants for a commercial shoot in New York City on August 15th, with possible prep/load-in days on the 13th and 14th and possible returns on the 16th. You can expect to assist with equipment set-up and breakdown as well as helping crew with production needs. Must have a valid driver's license. Please include availability for the 13th through 16th.

CREATIVE PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

Our show is looking for a Creative Production Assistant for an award-winning New York based daily daytime talk show.

This position is for someone with the following credentials:
- At least 6 months – 1 year of production experience (including assistant and/or intern work)
- Experience in studio programming.
- Talk show experience a huge plus.
- Comfortable working long hours including weekends when needed.

The position will support a producer and associate producer. We are looking for someone who will assist our teams with enthusiasm and has a positive, can-do attitude.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, an ability to pivot quickly when required, and does not believe any task is “too small”.

This position is for someone looking to learn, do more and who is always asking your team what you can do next as soon as your assigned tasks are done.

This position will require the right candidate to be in studio for several days a month.

This position’s benefits include paid dark weeks and an option to buy into company’s health insurance plan. Position starts in August 2024, wraps end of May 2025.

$975 - $1,025 weekly rate

Need a PA for a reality shoot in Islip Terrace 5th - 12th (9th is dark). We are only looking to hire Long Island locals, please do not apply if you live in the city as the commute every day is quite far.

Typical PA duties such as fetching lunch and crafty, helping to load gear in and out, obtaining releases in the field, driving one of the mini vans with crew/ gear in it, etc.

Seeking an experienced Set Production Assistant to join our small, dynamic crew for an exciting one-day project. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has some experience and eager to contribute to multiple departments, including lighting and camera. The project involves a full day of interviews and B-roll, requiring efficiency to accomplish multiple setups. We are looking to add someone to our great small crew for one day.

- Drive minivan with crew to locations safely

We will be filming an online in house video in San Diego at a facility. Would need someone with a valid driver's license and vehicle for runs, on set tasks and general production support. Mileage will be reimbursed. $225/10
