This position will support live and pre-recorded productions in dynamic educational media studio spaces. This position utilizes a varied skillset, including but not limited to: audio-visual hardware knowledge, web-conference experience, the ability to solve technology problems on the fly and working calmly under pressure.

Duties include:
● Operating cameras
● Switching live cameras
● Running lighting cues
● Monitoring / recording audio
● Managing / hosting zoom calls
● Slide-sharing
● post-production work / editing
● Studio maintenance and cleaning of hardware

Hello! Are you in the Orlando, FL Area?

We are looking for local crew to help us shoot an episode of "Dr. Pimple Popper" for 1-3 days in the Orlando, FL area and can really use your help! Our DP & additional PA will be working on set and will need a stellar PA to aid them.

This shoot will take place over 1-3 days in Orlando, FL (Tuesday 4/4/23 - Thursday 4/6/23). Ideal candidates will have reliable transportation and be able to work as locals for this city.

For 1 Production Assistant the usual duties apply...

- Going on runs
- Grabbing crafty/lunch/coffee
-Helping with gear
-Helping to maintain COVID-19 compliance
- Being a generally positive "How can I help you?" personality.
- Cell phone or iPad with unlimited data and Video Chat Capabilities
- Power source to keep your device charged all day
- Back-up battery source for emergencies
- A steady hand to hold the frame for Producers and Camera to be in contact

Your Role Accountabilities...

This freelance role will be responsible for receiving footage and sound during March Madness, NBA Playoffs and NHL Playoffs

Helping manage the footage library for CSSU.
Compiling, clipping and logging video for all NBA, NCAA March Madness & NHL
The tenure for this role is expected to be from 3/13 - 6/30

Qualifications & Experience...

BA in Communications, Journalism or TV/Film recommended.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
In-depth sports knowledge of college basketball, NBA and NHL

The person filling this role is responsible for coding and punching our locally produced news content using Sony ELC automation. The director works closely with our producers and others in the news department to produce fast-paced, graphic & video-driven, compelling and clean newscasts. **** produces nearly 10 hours of live local content each day, and our directors are key to making our shows the best they can be. We are seeking an individual who can handle a fast-paced and dynamic newscast. The ideal candidate will bring new, forward-thinking production ideas to the table to help us adapt to a constantly changing viewer base.

Responsibilities:

• Code and punch live newscasts and recorded shows using Sony ELC automation.

• Oversee the overall look of the assigned newscast(s).

• Check commercial logs for missing *** .

• Prepare topical *** for air.

• Identify and correct potential problems before they hit the air.

• Work closely with other directors to facilitate changes and updates to our automation systems.

This position is represented by the Writers Guild of America East.

Responsibilities:

Order and coordinate all graphic elements for air.
Facilitate production in studio during show tapings, including delivering scripts and assisting anchor.
Work closely with producers to research, select and locate required footage for broadcast.
Fact check and spell check all graphics before they make air.
Locate and share relevant still images for air.
