Qualifications: Prior production & programing experience that includes program screening & evaluation, research experience - online & TV databases to create competitive grid & network resources
Familiarity with outside video/film/photo archives & websites
Must be highly organized, a creative problem solver, Team player; good attitude; flexible; interpersonal skills
Strong working knowledge of news, documentary, and editorial content in general
Basic writing and spreadsheet/presentation experience
Familiarity with Excel, Power Point, mov and Frameio
Duties: A Production Assistant supports the VP Programming, Programming Coordinator, Executive Producer, Sr. Producer and Producers and should be an organized and self-motivated individual with strong research, writing, video selection, screening, evaluations, organizing production materials and talking to distributors for content and transcribing skills.
Daily duties include screening, dubbing, logging interviews/video and assisting with any other production needs including competitive network program research and creating competitive grids. Flexibility and time management is KEY.
