Production Assistant-On-Site Support Assistant (COVID-19 Testing)

POSITION OVERVIEW
Under the general direction of the On-Site Support Lead or their designee, On-Site Support team members will serve as the main point of contact for all patients in the swabbing process. Duties include checking-in patients, collecting and ordering test samples in the WithHealth lab operating system. Attention to detail, organization and a friendly, customer service-focused attitude are key attributes for this role. The ideal candidate will also be friendly, detail-and solution-oriented, self-sufficient, able to multitask and take directions well.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the daily operations of the Office and Client Swab Collection Sites (Including but not limited to checking in and directing patients to a nurse station, updating and maintaining patient electronic records in WithHealth’s databases and ensuring specimens from the Swab Collection Site are transported/received to lab (includes picking up from FedEx, Delta Cargo or other transport/shipping provider)
Assist in the daily operations of the Lab (Including but not limited to receiving, documenting, accessioning, processing and resulting specimens (processing/resulting limited to POC/Accula lab)).
Order samples in our internal system database/s at Client Swab Collection Sites
Strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines and the company’s COVID-19 health and safety protocols
Repeatedly checking and confirming accurate patient information to maintain a high priority and focus on these details
Customer service and troubleshooting
Multitasking and helping to solve operational issues
Maintain organization, cleanliness and presentability of work area(s)
Assume other duties as assigned
Requirements
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
Preferred experience with COVID-19 compliance
Understanding of HIPAA compliance
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to troubleshoot technology and multitask
Strong attention to detail
Customer service experience
Previous medical laboratory experience a plus
