WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• You will be part of a fun & vibrant event team who activates various types of cutting-edge photo & video booth experiences for corporate & promotional events, private parties, weddings and more
• On event days, meet at our Head-Quarters (in Lyndhurst, NJ) to load equipment in company vehicles and head out to event space / venue (mostly in NYC, occasionally in other parts of tri-state area or nationwide)
• Upon arrival at venue, load-in & setup photo booth equipment and / or photo backdrops
• During the event, operate interactive photo or video booth while engaging with guests, allowing them to instantly share their experience on social media via our savvy sharing kiosks
• Exceed client expectations by delivering exceptional customer service
• Upon conclusion of event, breakdown & load out equipment and return to HQ
WHO YOU ARE:
• You have your own vehicle and are able to drive to our Lyndhurst, NJ office to meet your team prior to each event (personal vehicles will rarely be asked to be used for events). In the rare occasion that you are requested to use your own vehicle, you will be reimbursed for gas, tolls & mileage on your vehicle)
• You are an honest, hard-working individual who is eager to put in a good day’s work and enjoys working with a team
• You have excellent communication skills and enjoy interacting with new people and the general public
• Some physical labor & lifting of equipment does not scare you (and you are physically fit to do so)
• Ideally you have some experience working within a hospitality or service industry
• You have an interest (and some experience) in digital photography / photo booths, lighting or AV equipment
• You’re truly reliable and always on-time (in the event industry, being punctual is everything !!!)
• You’re a problem-solver and can stay calm under pressure
HOURS & PAY
• This position is part-time and will fluctuate with the number of event bookings we receive
• Hours vary per event or project, however most shifts run about 8 +/- hours from start to finish (occasionally partial shits 4 +/- hours)
• Event days & times vary as well and can take place mornings, afternoons or evenings... On weekdays or weekends
• Most events are booked 1-3 weeks in advance. You will typically be requested to work an event 1-2 weeks in advance. However occasionally there are exceptions as last-minute booking do occur, in which you may be asked to work 1-2 days in advance (you can accept or decline event requests based on your availability)
• Pay varies per event and individual skill set provided. On average, full event pay can range between $125 - $300 per event and partial event pay $75 - $150
• All staff are w-2 employees with bi-weekly payroll processing
