Looking for a couple production assistants for the dressing room team for a live event taking place December 10th in Mesa, AZ. 12 hour+ days, OT after 12.
Important details: This event takes place in a venue with a very large footprint -- a lot of walking will be involved! Discretion is paramount -- no social media posting from backstage, rehearsals, etcetera.
Dates:
Thursday, December 7th - Monday, December 11th.
** MUST be available all dates. **
Rate:
- Dressing Room Assistant - $250/12.
- Mileage reimbursed for runs related to show. Mileage not reimbursed for travel to and from site to begin/end your work day.
General duties:
- Shopping for dressing room riders, stocking dressing rooms, band & dancer rooms, etc.
- Setting up pipe & drape.
- Moving expendables to dressing rooms (mirrors, hair & make-up stations, steamers).
- Meal runs for rehearsal and show days.
- Various duties related to dressing rooms / rehearsals as needs arise.
Requirements:
- Have and be able to use a working vehicle for necessary runs related to event (no transportation of people).
- Able to lift 30+ pounds.
- Must be able to work as a local - travel/lodging will not be provided.
- Professional attire ("Business casual", all black on show days. Comfortable shoes. Please no rips, tears, crop tops, etc.)
- Able to communicate professionally and respectfully with various personalities. (You are not expected to "accept" any negative behavior from difficult personalities, but professionalism must be maintained and all conflicts should be directed to department head to handle).
