- Job Requirements: Must be local to location (or willing to work as a local).
Crew that is a seasoned, well oiled machine is seeking a Production Assistant that is versatile and reliable, with a positive attitude and a great work ethic. The PA will need to have working knowledge of the set, supporting the tech crew with lights and cameras, as well as the ability to load in and out efficiently. Set etiquette and representing the team in the best light is essential. They must also be able to safely drive a passenger van in NYC and have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record. This PA must be well rounded enough to help production on set with runs, administrative tasks, and especially with releases. Administrative and general production knowledge will also be useful for prep days. This person must possess communication skills, reliable follow through, an attention to detail, and be a forward thinker. Essentially, we're looking for the best of both worlds; someone who is great with the tech side but also the production end of things.
Our crew is close knit and has been doing this for quite a few seasons. We're an efficient, reliable, and fun loving team. We're looking for someone who is positive and hard working who can blend well with the group. Since we have been doing this for some time, we do have a certain flow to things and we're looking for someone who can jump in and get a handle for things quickly, maybe even improving upon on our system.
The show runs through mid/end of June and our weeks are usually 4-5 days (usually only weekdays). Great positions for those who want to learn/move up to both an AC or Prod. Coordinator position.
Serious applicants only please. Thanks for your time and we look forward to hearing from you!
