A late night TV show is looking for multiple Production Assistants to work full time within all departments. The positions have an opportunity to grow within the company.
Experience:
* working with all departments on a production (talent, audience, props)
* working on a deadline while multi-tasking
* managing talent and the general public
* being flexible to pivot when needed and anticipate production's needs spreadsheets, digital workflows, and expense reports
* bartending experience is a plus
* art creation and staging props experience is a plus
TALENT:
Summary:
A late-night talk show is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Talent Production Assistant with confidence in cocktail-making, food service etiquette, and the drive to prepare and uphold all aspects of high-level hospitality for celebrity guests once they arrive for show tapings. This position reports to the production management team and assists all other show PAs once core daily duties have been completed.
Tasks Include (but not limited to):
* Prior to Guest Arrival: Vacuum green room carpets and furniture, wipe tables, mirrors, and vanities, restock waters and snacks, print door name tags and guest WiFi vouchers, purchase & prepare fresh flowers for green rooms and drink garnishes (lemons, limes, oranges)
* Once Guests Arrive: Mix classic cocktails (Martinis, Manhattans, Margaritas, etc) for guests & entourages, run drinks between kitchen bar and green rooms, steam guest wardrobe, run for special talent requests
* After Shows: Reset and tidy green room spaces, load and run the dishwasher, clean the kitchen, help other PAs with their wrap duties
* During Quiet Periods: General office tasks, prop-shopping, show episode logging, receipt collection
* Weekly: Order, receive, and restock talent alcohol, sodas/mixers, waters, snacks, beauty supplies
* Spearhead booking furniture or electrical fixture fixes or replacements
* Miscellaneous: production runs, moving set furniture, helping to load in and out equipment on seldom location shoots, sitting in on camera during tech rehearsal, etc
AUDIENCE:
Summary:
A late-night talk show is looking for an out-going, organized, and highly detail-oriented entry-level assistant to join the production management team and support preparing for the arrival of and serving cocktails to the nightly live audience. Tasks will also include expense reporting, studio support, and other general production office assignments. This is a great way to enter and begin a career in talk show television.
Tasks Include (but not limited to):
* Welcoming and serving cocktails to audience during the hour before each show.
* Ordering supplies and cleaning/preparing the Audience Bar reception lounge for guest arrival
* Setting outdoor audience rope stanchions and striking them after wrap.
* Receipt collection, compiling expense reports in Google Sheets or Excel for submission
* Studio tech rehearsal standing-in, talent food/drink request runs
* General Office needs: prop shopping, show episode logging, office/kitchen cleaning, etc.

Qualifications:
* Ability to work in-person at our New York City office, 5 days per week.
* Ability to work a varied work schedule (some days 9 AM - 5 PM, others 3 PM-11 PM, most weeks Mon - Fri, some weeks Sun - Thu).
* Experience using: Google Drive, Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, Microsoft Word/Google Docs.
* Previous experience in food service and administrative tasks.
* Highly organized, always on time, willing to hustle, brings a great attitude.
