Juris Productions specializes in creating legal documentaries and marketing videos for our trial lawyer clients. We are looking for a highly qualified Media Manager/Post-Production Assistant that is passionate about documentary projects and storytelling to join our team. This job is full time with benefits, and located in Pasadena, CA
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- We want you to own the media management and digital workflow across all of our projects.
- Bring passion to the role and find ways to help the producers, writers, and editors.
- You have a strong knowledge of a variety of production and post-productions programs, services and project management tools, including Adobe Creative Cloud, Dropbox, Google GSuite, Vimeo, & Basecamp.
- You understand digital file formats, and have detailed knowledge of documentary editing workflows, and how to prep/troubleshoot for post-production.
- You are highly organized and able to multitask. There are a lot of concurrent tasks at any given time, so having the ability to step back and recognize different priorities to meet all deadlines is a must.
- You demonstrate proficiency in communicating with clients both verbally and in writing.
- You can handle general office-related tasks such as answering phones, lifting up to 50lbs, ordering supplies, checking in/out equipment, or other tasks as needed.
- You have a valid driver’s license and access to a car.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- You understand the documentary process and what goes into telling non-fiction, emotional stories.
- You have a working understanding of current digital camera systems and on-set lighting... or are interested in learning!
- You are curious! You ask questions.
