How you'll make an impact:The Audio Production Assistant will work with members of the Howard Stern Post Production team to support various department needs for audio production and content development on multiple Sirius XM platforms. This role will combine technical & organizational skills as well as creative abilities.
What you'll do: - Maintain the Music Master library including entering all necessary attributes and metadata information on a weekly basis.
- Ingest high volume of audio from channel library into Zetta system for on air scheduling
- Monitor on-air programming for content and technical quality control
- Prepare & publish programming for the Sirius XM app On Demand.
- Complete department administrative tasks in a timely manner.
- Sit in with senior staff to learn the inner workings of the department and audio production.
What you'll need:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years of professional radio experience with hands on experience using Music Master & Zetta platforms
- Passion for radio and/or audio production.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, supporting colleagues and sharing audio material.
- Interest in learning all aspects talk radio programming and audio production.
- Ability to multi-task and shift priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to be flexible and professional under pressure and deadlines.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
- Must be highly proficient in Music Master scheduling software
- Hands on experience with Zetta broadcast platform
- Microsoft Office required, with an emphasis on Excel
