Special Operations is a DUMBO, Brooklyn based commercial arts and entertainment company looking for a Production Coordinator with 2-3 years experience. Our Production Coordinator will be the first link between the creative brief and its execution in accordance with the budgeted cost, resources and timeline. They will help guide projects through the entire life cycle of a project.

We're looking for candidates that are friendly, proactive and know how to work as part of a team.

Job Description:

Assisting Producers to ensure the smooth running of our Projects, locally in NY and with remote team members.

Managing schedules and tracking projects to ensure all internal and external targets are met.

Anticipating deadline challenges and communicating this to other members of the team to problem solve and plan accordingly.

Assist in travel booking for Talent, Executives and Production Crew.

Additionally, the Production Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in building estimates for upcoming projects, tracking expenses and wrapping out each project , assisting in building shoot and post production calendars, creation and distribution of the call sheets, filing all location, talent, and materials releases, and gathering project credits.

Schedules calls/meetings as necessary to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) is hosting an annual conference in Las Vegas 6/18 - 6/21. Our team will be filming the event to produce stock footage style archival content and post-produce a Highlight Sizzle along with additional marketing content. You will be working to help manage logistics for a crew of 12-15.

Applicant should be capable of facilitating great communication and a seamless workflow between the Event Producer, Creative Producer, Lead Editor and crew. You will need to manage production documents via our shared google drive and revise/deliver production schedules, post-production schedules, short briefs for crew (text/email) and call sheets. PC will also need to order team lunches and coordinate pick-ups/drop offs with our driver.

Teams will be on a 12hr day but likely wrap in 8-10. There will be plenty of breaks and downtime.

Job Description

PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated duration of 6-12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.

As a Production Coordiantor, you are an integral part of the GOLF Operations team reporting to the VP, Golf Operations. You are responsible for supporting the production coordination needs of the assigned broadcast for remote GOLF events. In addition, as needed, you are expected to interface and collaborate with colleagues working in the Studio to help facilitate all aspects of event logistics.

Responsibilities:

Support Production and Operations personnel during every phase of productionboth remotely and in studio
Occasional oversight of daily hire personnel for Production/Timecard Submission
Ability to navigate internal databases and documents regarding broadcast schedules, crewing and personnel
Assist in reconciling the remote event's budget in partnership with the onsite Production Manager
Responsible for all aspects of travel logistics for Talent, Production and Crew (Air, Hotel, Ground Transportation)
Work with internal partners and vendors regarding Remote and Studio Logistics: Crewing, Scheduling Team, HR, Building Admin (seating), IT, event catering, cleaning schedules, etc. (as applicable)

As part of the *** U Cable Creative Marketing Department, the production coordinator will be responsible for operational and project management duties involved with show marketing campaigns across BRAVO, E!, OXYGEN, SYFY, USA NET****, and UNIVERSAL ****.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the production, approvals, and delivery process for a high volume of show marketing deliverables including On Air, Social, Digital, Paid *** , & Design
Track incoming creative briefs, manage assets and folder organization for new projects, and update status documents and tracking platforms accordingly
Act as a liaison to multiple departments and cross-functional partners including Brand Marketing, Programming/Development, Multiplatform, Social, Publicity, *** , Legal, Ad Sales, etc.
Effectively communicate project details such as deadlines, changes in schedule, and legal feedback to internal teams
