PRODUCTION COORDINATOR
The filmmakers of the award-winning feature documentary “The Biggest Little Farm” are
embarking on a new blue-chip sequel series. This new 12-episode documentary series,
directed by John Chester, starts where the film leaves off, weaving together the farm’s
many characters and visiting wildlife, to illustrate a world fueled by its interconnectedness.

This is a multi-year project. The position is non union and the candidate must be willing to
work in-person on the farm in Moorpark, CA.

Duties include but are not limited to:
Support Line Producer with equipment needs:
-Sourcing and comparing quotes for rentals and purchasing.
-Tracking purchase orders and deliveries.
-Pick ups and returns of rentals in and around the Los Angeles area.
-Maintain records of owned equipment
-Sell no longer used equipment.

Provide production office support:
-Track and code expenses and receipts monthly.
-Collect and manage invoices for payment twice per month.
-Purchase supplies and set up furniture for both production office and on farm housing as
needed.
-Book travel (airfare, cars, hotels) for production crew.
-Manage all production meals including ordering, arranging for delivery or pick up of daily
lunch for production crew and occasional dinner or weekend meals for the field team.

Administrative work as needed:
-Printing, scanning, copying, laminating, distributing paperwork.
-Send mail and FedEx packages.
-Create and monitor weekly COVID form.
-Maintain logs of fuel, energy, trash and paper usage for carbon tracking.
-Facilitate background checks with external company for crew as needed.

Assist Line Producer with hiring & on boarding new hires:
-Monitor and track applicants
-Schedule interviews
-Distribute Welcome Packet with key information for new hires

All travel expenses covered + per diem for shoots outside of LA. Must work as a local for LA shoots. Will depart for South and East coast approx June 1 and return approx July 3.

Smaller crew show based around houses and interesting items (think American Pickers) where we will likely be working hard and fast while on the road with some prep time in between episodes. One or two weeks of LA prep, two weeks of LA shoots, and then we'll be on the road to other cities. You're jumping in midstream for someone we had who was wonderful but had to leave our lovely band of merry travelers.

This show needs a PC that is borderline spiritual in their commitment to organization and someone that can communicate efficiently and problem solve on-the-fly. Accounting excellence and spreadsheet detail oriented a must. Love it if you also have a sense of humor, but I suppose that one is optional. Your PM and LP have been doing this a long time and tend to try to make this work life something we enjoy and to hire people that work together well and are generally affable.

Job Description

PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated duration of 6-12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.

As a Production Coordiantor, you are an integral part of the GOLF Operations team reporting to the VP, Golf Operations. You are responsible for supporting the production coordination needs of the assigned broadcast for remote GOLF events. In addition, as needed, you are expected to interface and collaborate with colleagues working in the Studio to help facilitate all aspects of event logistics.

Support Production and Operations personnel during every phase of productionboth remotely and in studio

The Publishing Operations team oversees key components of Marvel's weekly publishing schedule. The group is an integral team across the manufacturing cycle, overseeing the production of thousands of titles annually.
