The Palm Beach County Film & Television Commission (FTC) is looking for a full-time Production Coordinator to join our growing team! The Production Coordinator is responsible for the One-Stop Permitting process for film, television, digital media and still photography production throughout Palm Beach County. This individual is a central point of communication between the FTC team and the local production community, promoting The Palm Beaches as a premiere film, television, digital media and still photography destination. The Production Coordinator is responsible for processing applications for permits, establishing relations with the One-Stop contacts, coordinating the use of location sites for filming with local municipalities, taxing districts and county departments. This individual will act as the back-up to the Director of Operations & Production in regards to permitting and the maintenance of official records, files, insurance certificates, and production data. The Production Coordinator will also contribute and assist as needed with other departmental needs at the FTC including (but not limited to) The Palm Beaches TV channel, various marketing initiatives, event coordination, administrative tasks and educational programs.

The ideal candidate is a self-starting, motivated and efficient multi-tasker who would manage day-to-day office tasks and prioritize a varied workload. Candidate must present a high level of professionalism, have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, use proper phone etiquette, and display exceptional writing skills. Minimum requirements include: proficiency with Microsoft Office; graduation from a high school or an equivalent recognized certification; 3 years of production experience in the area of film, television, digital media and/or commercial work; and extensive knowledge of Palm Beach County geography and ordinances relating to production work as required.

Candidate must be available Monday-Friday from 8:30am – 5:00pm. Position is an in-office role (not remote). Starting salary is $40,000 per year plus vacation/holiday pay, full benefits available after 60 days and 401K available after 1 year of service.

Our team will be filming the event to produce stock footage style archival content and post-produce a Highlight Sizzle along with additional marketing content. You will be working to help manage logistics for a crew of 12-15.

Applicant should be capable of facilitating great communication and a seamless workflow between the Event Producer, Creative Producer, Lead Editor and crew. You will need to manage production documents via our shared google drive and revise/deliver production schedules, post-production schedules, short briefs for crew (text/email) and call sheets. PC will also need to order team lunches and coordinate pick-ups/drop offs with our driver.

Teams will be on a 12hr day but likely wrap in 8-10. There will be plenty of breaks and downtime.

As a Production Coordiantor, you are an integral part of the GOLF Operations team reporting to the VP, Golf Operations. You are responsible for supporting the production coordination needs of the assigned broadcast for remote GOLF events. In addition, as needed, you are expected to interface and collaborate with colleagues working in the Studio to help facilitate all aspects of event logistics.

Responsibilities:

Support Production and Operations personnel during every phase of productionboth remotely and in studio

Assist in reconciling the remote event's budget in partnership with the onsite Production Manager
