Essential Functions/Responsibilities

• Direct multiple art disciplines on a project team
• Provide art direction and feedback to team of artists and external vendors
• Supervise, train, mentor, motivate and support the development of Artists
• Coach team members to their optimum performance levels, and ensure the team receives regular reviews and one-on-one meetings
• Manage performance within the team in a way that encourages autonomy, mastery, and purpose
• Create visual touchstone assets that inspire and set visual direction for others. (concepts, models, paint-overs).
• Maintain current and working knowledge on industry/market trends, make recommendations as appropriate
• Partner with the Studio Art Director to own and define assigned aspects of the project as directed
• Contribute to developing custom pipelines for project with specific creative and technological needs in collaboration with engineering
• Participate in daily production meetings to ensure art is on track
• Anticipate, identify, and present problem areas and develop preventative solutions for the team
• Partner with production to ensure schedules and plans meet business and project needs
• Partner with senior management to ensure team is healthy and strong
• Work closely with game design to ensure art enhances the player experience
• Present designs to clients for approval

• A proven ability to visually solve problems in collaboration with the broader game team including other artists, art leads, and design leads

• 7 years' experience crafting video game art
• 3 years' experience as a lead artist or art director

Job Summary:

There are many roles in which our Cast Members bring *** dreams to life. Do you want to be part of the magic behind the magic? The Plasterer 200 is responsible to perform functions that include but are not limited to plastering normal finishes and simulated finishes (i.e., rock work, brick, stone wood). The removal and installation of tile brick pavers, concrete and asphalt. This will include shop work, field and rehab work ranging from construction to the intricacies of the refurbishment of. It requires the ability to read blue prints, follow engineering instructions and use normal hand tools and power tools. This position provides support to Engineering, all maintenance teams including attractions, ride and show, and infrastructure facilities.

Responsibilities:

The Plasterer 200 role is responsible to:

• Have the ability to safely use and maintain basic hand tools, to operate pneumatic and electric powered tools utilizing the proper safety precautions including personal protective equipment, and the ability to operate a man lift, forklift, scissors lift, truck, and both gas and electric powered carts
• To read blueprints and follow engineering instructions. The ability to use or learn to use MAXIMO (a work order tracking system), as well as to follow check lists to safely handle materials, lock-out and tag-out of attractions, operate department equipment and vehicles and know what actions to take in case of a failure
• To remove and repair cement, pavers, asphalt and tile, are required to possess a basic knowledge of how to handle and use molds and models (preferable knowledge of how to fabricate molds and models), and must possess the ability to plaster and apply or carve in the plaster simulated finishes (i.e., rock work, wood, stone, brick, etc.)
• Have the ability to operate a manlift, forklift, scissors lift, truck, bicycle and both gas and electric powered carts

Basic Qualifications:

• Able to work with cementitious materials, resins, epoxies, adhesives, acrylics, urethanes, molds, models and basic tools required of plasterer and a typical maintenance type position
• Familiarity with safety procedures and equipment necessary to accomplish tasks listed previously
• Able to read and interpret blueprints
• Able to read, interpret and follow checklists, written procedures and/or processes.
• Familiar with or have the ability to learn the Computerized Maintenance Management System
• Excellent communicator (express technical ideas, exchange information with WDI personnel, management, and other Cast Members)
• Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year; Shifts may start as early as 6:00 AM, while some may end as late as 10:00 PM.

This role is Full Time and requires full availability, including working evenings, weekends and holidays when needed.

The Art Director is the creative liaison *** ween the artists in the graphics department and the *** editorial units. The Art Director collaborates with producers and works with graphic artists to visualize editorial ideas to translate and improve upon initial concepts.

Responsibilities:

• The candidate must be highly creative, innovative, extremely motivated, organized and able to handle creative pressures under extreme deadlines.
• This person needs to be an ingenious visual problem solver.
• The art director must be able to manage quick turnaround of graphics assets and sometimes rapid changes. They should work well in a team and with a wide range of people or independently as the situation demands.
• The ideal candidate is someone who can synthesize creative asks and requirements and make decisions about production capabilities and challenges.
• They also need to be able to create graphics as well as manage artists and projects with great competence and skill.
• This position requires hands-on proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite and either C4D or Maya

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have 5 years as a designer overseeing motion graphics production in a multi- *** environment.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, work ethic and a desire to be in a *** and breaking news environment.
• Excellent people skills, must be able to manage creative staff and relationship with production.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and 3D.
• Strong editorial background/experience.
• Detail-oriented with proficiency at managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• Ability to think & communicate clearly and effectively, contributing to all discussions and strategy during the entire design process, from concept through completion
• Superior typography and design sensibilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of graphics software such as XPression and VizRt, and live graphics production experience is a bonus.

• BFA in Graphic/Digital Design or Animation
• 5 Years Experience in Graphic Design/Digital/Broadcast

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $109,280 to $150,260 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
